Hello. I currently have a Mac and have been playing on Party Poker via a Windows/Parallels emulator. However, I recently gave the 'no download' option a go on OS X, if only because it meant I didn't have to use a sluggish Windows.

The problem is that I can no longer use my Poker Tracker software unless I play on Windows, which, of course, means I am unable to collate all those necessary stats.

What options are available with regards to tracking software for those of us who play on Party Poker on OS X?

very few. There are some threads on the PT3 forum getting PT3 to work using WIne, I believe that is a (tricky, technical) option for OSX. I don't know if any other trackers will work this way. I suggest you subscribe to this thread: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showthread.php?t=2187 to keep up to date with Poker Tracker 3's eventual porting to OSX - it will be some time yet I'm afraid.

one day, someone will publish a suite of powerful tracking applications for poker players using mac, but it will go unnoticed because everyone will just expect the announcement thread to be another of these "quick questions"

the "no download" version of Party Poker doesn't write hand histories. So if you want to track your playing of Party Poker you need to run the full Windows version using Parallels.

I have found out that I can have the hand histories emailed to me. They arrive within the email rather than as an attachment. Does anyone if it is possible to import these into Poker Tracker and how I would do that?

Copy the HH from the email, and paste into a notepad document, and save as a TXT file. Then PT should be able to import the text files.

I did what you said, but it gave me the following error/maintenance message for each hand:

I've had a look, and can't seem to work out where I went wrong. Can you? Here is an example of one of the hands in the notepad document (names removed, of course):
