Been a live player for many many years and am getting into online play. Question I have is >>>> I am looking for a very simple program that will give me player stats VPIP/PFR etc etc. Not interested in Holdem Manager or Pokertracker etc with all the bells and whistles.

well realtime hud is fine and all. but i dont think it gathers hand histories for you, rather it displays them from an already compiled database. you would need PT2/PT3/HEM to import all your hand histories to, then you need a HUD to display the stats compiled by PT2/PT3/HEM.

If you are playing cash, i would recommend getting HEM. If you plan on playing any tournies, then get PokerTracker 3 imo. There are trials of both available.

Download the tryal version of Holdem Manager and try it... I think you gonna love it.

I currently use HM, however it is running sooooo slow for me. I am trying to fix it up, but I think I may switch to realtime if I don't have any luck.

Realtime was made by HEM/HM, so I'm not sure it would be any better (unless you are just talking about having trouble with the program but not the HUD). I would contact support and try to get it figured out, lots of people use HEM and they don't complain about it being super slow.

I don`t think so... Realtime is slower than HM... Works fine, and it`s free, but sometimes I had to shut it down to keep playing. It freezes my tables... And I lost action in a few tables because it... I even folded AA. Hurt me a lot see my clock running down, clicking on raise button and nothing happening... This is why I stoped to user Realtime. You can download it on Holdem Ranger site.
