Heres an opportunity for software programmer:

create a HUD to overlay stats from the users database to the universal replayer!

Why don't you just replay your hands in PT3 or HEM? I don't get the need for Universal Replayer, when these programs already have replayers (with stats).

It would not be hard to get the fpdb HUD to support the Universal Replayer. The UR devs would have to start the HUD and we would have to work out a way for UR to tell the HUD what hand is being replayed. I would have to do a few source changes in the HUD, but I don't think that would be a big deal.

Right now the fpdb HUD only pulls stats from the fpdb database. It used to support PT3 and PTstud, but I ripped that out and it would be fairly painful to put support for another db back in.

I don't know if this is a priority for the UR devs, but I would be happy to work with them on this. I have some other things to fix in the HUD before I could do this.

I've always rated the session ribbon navigation bar in UR, together with just being able to zip through the money invested hands.
The chip/m graph is the other really nice feature as a way of instantly navigating to key hands.

Perhaps a way of also linking to the hand in the tracker replayer w/hud from UR would be the other way to further review the hand?

have you ever tryed to review a sitngo? have you ever tryed the universal replayer?
oh, didnt think so.

not really familiar with the fpdb hud(link?) or programming or really much of what you other guys are saying but i guarantee you thousands of sng/tourney players would appreciate this. (just look at all the training sites at what replayer people are using for there vids, or ask around to some coaches, its what EVERYBODY uses.)

Oh and by the way, I use HEM, as does most sitngo players AFAIK.

on the topic of U.R. it would be really awesome to make a "send hand to sitngo wizard" button too.

Eratosthenes this would be really cool if you did this, and I bet you could sell it for $10-20... also I'm not sure if you are familiar with sitngo wizard(ICM calc with game view for reviewing hands) but theres a guy on here named hood who managed to create his own little software that overlays a players hud stats that it gets out of my HEM database.. (i happily paid $16 for it).. And he seems like a really nice guy so im sure you could pm him here with any questions about how he did it if you're having problems.

I had a think about this a little while ago, unfortunately couldn't find an (easy) method to determine hand number, therefore names / positions of the players involved Universal replayer is far and away the best imo, although I often use HM for looking at individual hands for actual replay of a SNG there is little contest.

Looking at it now I guess OCR on the red "session" text wouldn't be too big a deal.

The new developers of Universal-Replayer seem pretty cool and eager to succeed.

If there are changes that would make this more doable - sending them a message couldn't hurt
