Hi guys,

This is my first post in a forum in years, I've never thought I'd be joining one again, but here I am proving I was wrong

The first thing I should say is that I searched and searched this forum over the last couple of hours, and I wasn't able to find recent threads about this subject. I've also read the stickies in this sub forum and I guess I'm not breaking any rules asking. If I am, do accept my apologies

I'm new to 2+2 and I'm also pretty new to online poker, although I'm a live poker player with some decent results. I'm looking to find a HUD for playing mixed games, such as HORSE or the 7-8 games on PS/FTP. I have Poker Tracker 3, but it doesn't even read Razz or Stud games, not to mention 2-7 Lowball. When I open the HUD in a mixed game table, I'm always getting erroneous information...obviously. I'm looking for an automated software which will not provide as many details as PT3 does, but just general info: how many times did I stood along each player at the table, his session profit/loss, how many times did he see 3rd street/the flop/ the first draw etc.

If a HUD doesn't exist, can you at least point me to a hand replayer which works with mixed games? I've tried the freeware Popopup (which I really like actually...), but it cannot read Mixed games, I need to edit the hand files in bulk before importing them, and this is not an option for me.

I would really appreciate any form of help. I understand Holdem is the most popular game and obviously any person willing to design a poker tool will go for Holdem and neglect other less popular poker variants, but if there are mixed games players on this forum who have worked with any kind of software, I would appreciate a direction in which to search for.

Thanks!

Hi LeChienRouge,

I just saw this thread but I guess late is better than never

I would suggest you check out the Free Poker Database (FPDB). You can find it's website here: http://fpdb.****************/

There is also a support forum on 2+2: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/16...2009-a-273001/

This tracker is not commercial software but a labour of love of some poker-playing programmers. So it might not be as feature-rich or stable as some other trackers. But it is the only tracker which supports Holdem, Omaha and Stud games. And it has a HUD. It also supposedly has some Draw support built-in but I think not all the features are available yet.

I hope this helps,
CV

I don't know if you are still looking for a HUD for mixed games, but fpdb will import all of the games. The HUD works for each individual game, but doesn't know to how change games. I am working on this area and will probably add this feature in the next couple of days. In the mean time you could close the HUD when the game changes and let it regen with the correct game after the next hand.

Look in the free software forum for a huge thread on fpdb.

hmm

I've been using fpdb for a while now, I found it just after I started this thread, but I don't have the problem you're mentioning, the data changes automatically. For instance in a HORSE game, when LO8 starts the first hand displays the previous LHE stats, and starting with the second hand I see the L08 stats...The only problem is with the 8 game: triple draw isn't working in the hud, so all the stats are freezed during these hands, and the stats from the last PLO hands are being displayed. As soon as the second hand from LHE stars, the stats are back live.

Cheers.
