I decided to give PT2 a kick and try PT3 and HM.

I imported my 400K HHīs into PT3 trial version and played. I play exclusively iPoker (8-tabling).

I wasnīt too happy with the performance of PT3. I noticed some lagging, sometimes the iPoker buttons didnīt listen to my mouse clicks, clicking the HUD popup stats and clicking it away sometimes didnīt go as smooth as I liked.

Sure, the HUD stats are amazing, but Iīd like it to run a bit smoother.

My problem is that I canīt test HM under the same circumstances. I can only import 2.5K hands and Iīm sure any DB will run well with so few data.

So maybe that some iPoker players that use HM and have comparable or bigger DBs can inform me about their experience with HM HUD. Any hiccups you noticed?

Thanks.

Are you using Beta 14? (PT3)
If not, you should try it.
Download and install PT3.

There is another Beta version due out within the next few days which should improve performance even further.

I have both and usually use them on iPoker 4-8 tabling and both work very well on my pc (pentim4 2.8, 2gb ram, 512mb gf card). HM has a bit slower interface I would say and still misses tourney tracking. I like them both and keep updated database for both to use each occasionally

I have 2M hands on ipoker in HM (~7M hands total). No hiccups even when I have 15tables on ipoker and 38 more on other sites...

8x2.8GHz,10GB ram etc....

HM, it's not close at the moment.

PT3 have dropped the ball so to speak.

Regarding PT3. It can not follow through table change in MTTs at Titan (same sh*t as PT2) - hud disappears and then you get as many tourneys in stats as many tables you change So your ROI and winnings are completely wrong unless you tweak buy-ins manually. I have submitted ticket to PT3 support but they sent me some general reply which I did not want to follow up. Sucks.

Thanks.

HM now has a 15 day unlimited trial, if you update to 1.06+.

This is fixed for the next beta release.
Development Timeline.

Sorry for the lack of response, but there have been several tickets for this, so you may not get an individual response until the beta release.

Dunno about PT3 but PT has always been slow in my mind, even with a few thousand hands the time it takes to process is slow. When I play I just lower the priority of PT to low and it will work without disturbing my play.
