So i'm not necessarily new to the game at all, I have been playing for about 4 years now, online and live, being very successful at both. I know about PokerTracker, but never resorted to buying it for myself. I don't really know why, I understand how much it will likely help my game. I just feel that if I have come as far as I have without the program, why is it necessary? I'm not a top notch pro by any means, i'm a college student who really just does this as a hobby when i'm not out partying, but like i said I have been successful (profited in the 5 figure range last year online, about the same live, won a few smaller tourneys in vegas and AC...less than 300ppl, etc.) and I am curious as to trying something out to see if it will really have that big of an effect on my game. I would like to eventually get PT, but before I invest the money in that, I want to try a decent free program to get a feel for it. So I guess it's 2 things here...

A. Which programs are free that I can download to use (obv the better choices if possible)?

B. Do you suggest a program for a person like myself? (did ok without such help)
