FTP closed around 1am central time last night - and last evening around 7-8pm central (Thu 10-19).

Could it be the script? Both times I was running it and away from my computer.

I know they closed at some point for maintenance, so perhaps this was related.

PT stopped importing again 10-21 between 2:34 and 2:38am. No FTP running when I woke up today.

Guess I need an AHK script to see if FTP is up, and if not, auto fire it up and sign on....

Also, guess I need to contact FTP, I do seem to have connection problems lately.

For some reason my observed hands are not being logged. Should they not just automatically log to FulltiltPoker\HandHistory\Username\ ? And I am logged in while using this script, thanks.

no, observed hands are 'stored' at c:\program files\full tilt\hand histories ....... as long as you have enabled hand histories under Options on the FTP main screen.

Also, remember, the observed hands are 'stored' as .tmp, .txt

And they disappear when you close your program.

So:

Open up PT and do the Generic Auto-import
Open FTP
Open tables
Start Timer (importing)

Thanks, I tried doing so but when I do the generic auto import it will not locate files with a .tmp extension when I try to import by directory, and when I try to generically auto import a single file it will find it, but gives me a please give a valid file error. The only way I have found to work is use regular generic import, not auto, and this has to be done every minute or two so as to not lock up my computer when the files get too large. Please let me know if I'm missing something, thanks.

Never mind, I got it running by setting my full tilt auto import folder correctly, I had it setup to read files from only one username so it wasn't reading the .tmp files from my HandHistory directory.

also check to see if 'dont import observed hands right now' is unchecked.
I just download FT software and haven't played there before. Anyway, I can't find this checkbox. Can someone fill me in on how to get hh when I am not in the hand?

[Sorry if I brought up an old thread. This what I found when I searched]

Full Tilt saves my hand histories, but how do I get it to save hand histories of tables I am observing?

Options | Hand History. Tick "Save my hand histories" works for me (although I can't seem to get it to work if I'm not actually logged in).
