I'm asking if their is already an existing feature in some software app out there that let's you input a player's name and retrieve his stats from PT (primarily vp/pfr/af/wtsd hands). My PT databases are very large and it is too time consuming to open up the filters, let all of the data load for every player, and then navigate to an individual player. I could look at PA Hud's log and pull the SQL and then use the PostgreSQL tool to query the player, but even this is longer than it should have to be. I'm guessing something already exists.
I know _dave_ posted this:
http://www.overcards.com/wiki/moin.c...tgresFunctions and the example says "The test script retrieves the Screen Name / Hand Count / VPIP / PFR for the 10 players with most hands in your PTPGQSL1 database".
Perhaps you can pretty easily modify it to do what you want?
