Hey guys just wondering if someone could tell me, after i back up my DB's and save them to a desktop file how do i move it onto a CD so i will have a copy in case my PC happened to crash?


Tried searching but found nothing thanks.

I'm assuming you are talking about the ".backup" files created from backing up a PGSQL DB? Just save the file to CD using your CD-writer software. If the file is too big to fit on a single CD then get something like WINRAR and tell it to create an (uncompressed) archive which is split every ~700MB. Then write each of the WINRAR archive parts to a separate CD.

Also, I'd advise you to save your HH files in a similar way. I zip up all my HH files per month and it's generally just quite small files, a few MB only.

That way you can always still fall bak on them, the raw source of your poker database.
