Canonical Preflop Form for Pokerhands? Canonical Preflop Form for Pokerhands?

I hear this term thrown about a lot, but can't seem to find "The Canon" anywhere. I'm 90% sure I have the syntax understood, but I'm wondering if this has been specified explicitly somewhere, or if an application like Stove provides "The Canon"?

I'd go with Stove providing the "Canon" - if not, it's certainly a safe default since it can translate between text and graphical representations to see what it means for a certain abbreviation.

If you are developing an app, ad say in the docs "this part uses pokerstove notation to describe a range" - I think everyone should be able to either understand immediately or if not learn easily.

We had a small thread on this a while ago: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/45...estion-443329/
