I mostly play on my home PC, but sometimes when I travel I play on a work laptop. When I log into Full Tilt and play, none of the Notes I have on players, or color-codng I assign to them are on my laptop.

Is there a file on my home PC with this information that I can copy to my laptop?

In your FTP folder (Usually c:\Program files (x86) (if on 64bit windows))\full tilt poker\, there is a file called "screenname.xml" (screenname being your name obviously). That's where all the notes are stored, copy it over to your notebook and you are good to go.

If you make new notes on your notebook, you will have to repeat the process from notebook to PC.

Also, you will lose all the notes already on notebook when you copy them from PC, because you are not updating the notes, but replacing them.

Thanks!

Do you know how to transfer the player assigned color coding?

color coding is part of the player note, so it comes with it when you copy the notes

If you play FTP on a brand new computer do you lose all the notes if you don't have them backed up?

Yes. Unless you copy your "screenname.xml" to new computer. See above.
