We have created a fix for duplicate screename with different case sensitivity.
At first we just converted that hands as is but PT3 would not import them and HEM had incorrect values.

Instead in hands with duplicate screename with different capitalization we assigned numbers at the end of the duplicated screenames. Each way of capitalizing the screename will have a unique number added to the end of it.

You can create an alias between the 4 letter screename and the numbered screename to combine them as the same player in PT3 and in HEM.

Our converter does work on 64Bit Vista Systems, but the installer did not.
You will find on the download page a link for the 64bit installer which was added for version 1.0.11.0. The download page for the latest converter can be found here.

Email support@cakehandconverter.com I assume you did download the 64 bit version not the 32 bit version. It wouldn't install on xp 64bit or the program wouldn't run?

Maybe someone who has used the different Cake converters can chime in here.

So there are 3 converters now?

The free version, OPP's $50 version, and something called CPST?

Do any of these work for MTT's?

Which is the best or most useful in your opinion?

Cool but I downloaded the 64bit version and got it running after upgrading to 3,5 netthingy.

Anyways, I then try to convert my hands (FL) but 0 hands is converted. I am 200% sure that I set the right folder and I also tried using Cake/HHs/ and Cake/HHs/Email and still cannot convert any hands.

CPST is a separate program that doesn't require PT/HEM to work. It's not as advanced as PT or HEM, but it is the only option of the three that works with MTT/SnG hand histories.

Click on the browse button and then manually click on the folders till you get to the correct one containing the histories you want to convert.

Click on the browse button and manually choose the directory you want to send the converted histories to as well.

Don't copy and paste as you may get the path wrong just use the browse button.

The converter will NOT convert observed hands, only ones you played in.

Just made a donation to OPP and a few questions:

1) How quick do I get accepted?

2) I assume autoconvert only works with paid version? How many % of the hands is correctly converted?

3) How does the HUD-workout with autoconverting? Are people using this and do they get banned or warned first or how dangerous is it to use?

We have approved your full version copy now.

Autoconvert works with the demo as well but only the first 10 hands in each file are converted in the demo version. The full version should autoconvert all of your hands.

3) How does the HUD-workout with autoconverting? Are people using this and do they get banned or warned first or how dangerous is it to use.

There is no HUD that works with Cakepoker. Remember the hands are in pokerstars format.

Free Version - Lots of missed hands, some bugs in position of button, no autoimport, cannot import omaha hi/lo, european users will have setting problems, cannot import hands with players with the same first four letters in their screename, timestamps not accurate etc. etc.

Conclusion: (If you want the main idea of your results and can live with a few bugs and missed hands this verion is fine and free. Support is however limited and fixes are not done often.)

OPP Professional Version - Works with Omaha and Omaha Hi/Lo, 99.99% of hands are imported, Autodetects game type and structure from hand file, allows importing of hands with duplicate screenames that have different capitalization in the first four letters of their name. Autoimports on a timer. Skips hands already converted previously. Fully compatible with both HEM, PT2 Holdem, PT2 Omaha and PT3.

Conclusion: (This version attempts to be as accurate as possible in every aspect and to convert all hands with the complete information necessary. You do however have to signup for Rakeback or Donate $50 to convert all hands in each hand history. The first ten can be converted in the free demo version. All features work in both demo and full versions.)

CPST - Only for tracking your own play. Lack of complete information and other features found in Pokertracker and HEM.

Conclusion: (While limited in functionality CPST is the only software that will allow the import of SNG or Multi Table Tournament Histories.)

I'm having trouble importing my converted PLO hands to PTO. I keep getting the message: Unable to get the game date(2)...

Does anyone else have this problem and/or know how to solve it?

Thanks,

I'm sorry, I'm a bit confused by your reply. I converted all my cake files, running the cake hand converter from OPP. I had no trouble importing the hold em hands to hold em manager, but for some reason the PLO hands won't import into Poker tracker omaha. Does that make more sense?

Choose your import directory and load them the program will automatically choose all files that have not already been converted. With one button the program will convert all files you don't have to select them.

The program automatically unchecks any files it has already converted. If you need to reconvert again the same file(s) then just check the box.

Please upgrade your PTO to the latest version the patch file can be found here to upgrade to the latest version.

http://www.pokertracker.com/products...chpto11303.exe

If this still doesn't do the trick than please send us a few files that won't import to support@cakehandconverter.com.

Hi, I bought the $50 version and I played some hands and closed the cake client and double checked to make sure the hh's saved where they were supposed to. When I try to load files, however, it says there are no files to load. Any clue as to what the problem is?

1) Click on the browse button and make sure it is pulling the correct directory from input files.

2) Click Clear Results
3) Click Load Files
----------------------

This will make the program recheck all files in the directory. Sometimes you return to the same table on the same day and cake writes again to the same file. The program automatically skips files it has already converted but if you clear results then it will reload and check all files.

This guy is such lying scum. Sick of hearing him say that the free version misses tons of hands etc. It works perfectly fine, I have zero problems with it and I play about 50k hands a month at Cake. I have had no bugs with position of button either, timestamps are almost never inaccurate. Don't waste your $50 on this unless auto importing is that important to you, honestly thats the only real 'feature'.

Free Version Problems:

1) Position of button is off on headsup tables.
2) Timestamps can only be set as a number of hands per hour not the actual number of hands in an hour.
3) The program will simple error if two players with the same screename are sitting at the same table. Aaaa*** AAAA****.
4) You may be in North America and not have a problem with formatting of numbers but we have many users in European countries who cannot use the free version.
5) Limited support for Omaha and no HI/Lo Support.
6) No 64 Bit Support
