And my other question is about modding. It is possible to mod a b2b skin ? i didnt find anything about that on the forum.

Yes you can mod b2b (or entraction is the new name). Just unzip ext-resources.jar (u need to rename it to .zip) and then you will understand...

GT+ works decent with B2B/Entraction, and also Pokeroffice works fine with it.

you can use partypoker table mods if you want, doesn't need to be table mods made for entraction.

Have you done this successfully? I've tried it and it wouldn't work even after extracting the files, modding them and then using jar to create the jar archive, but the client kept resyncing at startup when it realised it wasnt the original jar. How did you get it working?

EDIT: Got it working now, I was extracting the whole folder with winrar instead of just renaming the jar to zip. Thanks.

I've got a couple of pm's asking how to get card mods working so I'll post instructions here in case more need to know.

After renaming the ext-resources.jar to ext-resources.jar.zip go into it using explorer. The card folders need to go into ext-ui/graphics. There is a folder for each suit, folder names are, club, spade, heart, diamond. For 4 colour decks there is a folder in diamond called blue, and in club called green.

For eg, To use a party mod you need to seperate the cards in the folders mentioned above and renamed the files 1-10.gif (ace is 1.gif) and jack.gif queen.gif and king.gif.

The files need to be gif files so if the party mod is in .jpg or png format you need to convert to gif.

Copy the four folders to ext-ui/graphics, rename ext-resources.jar.zip back to ext-resources.jar and start the client and mods should work.

The card folder now is resources.jar (at least that's the only location where I found the cards). I tried to replicate the steps as listed by daedal. After changing the zip file back to jar file my entraction/b2b client won't start however, I had to use the backup resources.jar to get it to work. im using winzip to look at the files - maybe I'm doing somethign wrong with it when I replace the standard cards with the new altered ones - I've tried zero compression as well as zip 2.0 compatible compression - not sure if it makes much difference or not - I do notice however that the size of my gifs are a lot bigger than the native entraction ones.
Also what version of gametime are people using - is 1.4.7 the latest one?

I haven't played on entraction in a couple of months but I tried to mod the cards the same way I posted about above and it worked fine, same way as the last time.

The only thing I can think of is that you have thumbnails enabled in Explorer/My computer and that is creating the hidden thumbs.db that XP makes when you have thumbnail enabled. I was having trouble with that until I disabled the thumbnails.

The card files still need to be copied into ext-resources.jar not resources.jar, at least on Devilfish, the skin that I just tried now.

I had been looking at Pinnacle and Betdaq's client, but I checked devilfish just now, and for me the cards are still not located in ext-resources.jar but resources.jar .

I'm using 64-but Vista - not sure if that has any impact at all - Entraction does work on vista btw - even though it's not officially supported - I'll check my XP laptop to see if there's anythign different there.

The originals are in resources.jar but any mods you make and want to add have to be added to ext-resources.jar

Here are the card mods I used, they are the phatty liver deck party mod converted to gifs

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=PAAGJTYH

just add the 4 folders (club, diamond, spade and heart) into ext-resources.jar in the ext-ui/graphics folder

Got it working . thx a lot for your help. I'll check out your cards now also.

I'm guessing you can mod the table background also - do you happen to know offhand how to do this?

Confirmed! This really works
One little comment though. I tried the packing with Winrar and that didn't worked. But with Totalcommander I copied the mods into the ext-resources.jar file as if it was a directory (same way as you can do with ZIP files) and it worked perfectly.

I quickly converted 2 of my cardmods
B2B_MOD

I tired replacing the files in resources.jar and the ext jar file, that worked ok. But when I load noiq up it just redownloads those files and copies over them
doesn't work for me

You are messing this up that is for sure
Everything works perfectly with NoIQpoker, I tried it.

Anyway nothing should be copied into the resources.jar file.
Everything should be copied to the ext-resources.jar.
Copy into it with Totalcommander.

I tried with total commander it says the zip is full or something... It won't let me edit the files inside..

I tried extracting the file, then adding the mod, then re jarring it, but that doesn't work either. : (: (

Worked for me now.

- rename to .jar.zip
- open with explorer
- change stuff
- rename to .jar

The only thing I'm looking into now is to display betsizes on the table. Anyone has any ideas?
