I studied software computer science in college almost 10 years ago now but have not written a single line of code since the day I left college.

I would love to have a go at writing some simple AHK scripts for stars. Can anyone point me to a good online resource of AHK tutorials or give me some hints for getting started.

Thanks

The syntax is super simple and very loose, read over the main documentation entries on the homepage and you'll pick up the whole language in about an hour, even if you haven't written code for years.

You can learn it all by reading through the command reference on the site:
http://www.autohotkey.com/docs/commands.htm

Also looking into popular scripts with this reference on the side will help a lot.

I think it's probably better in the long run to skim variables and expressions first.
