ok, fulltilt used to popup and activate the next table in line after you made your action on the previous table. a while ago they made an update so the next table in line will popup over the others, but it is not yet active. not until you manually click on it.
stars however still uses the 1st method described. where the next table in line pops up AND automatically activates itself. this has caused some problems for me:
i use 'highlight bet amount' option. so if i am surfing the web, type something in to the browser and hit enter to search, if a table pops up right before, i instead enter a raise. i guess i could just not use the 'highlight bet amount' feature. but there are other problems....
i have an AHK script that works in the basic manner table ninja works. (i don't like table ninja as you can only use the 'classic' or 'hyper simple' layouts.) i prefer 'old black'. so basically how the script works, is it directs the pointer to a certain spot on the table. i can F1:fold (also advance action fold), F2:check/call, F3:bet/raise. i tile 9 tables, and i like to go around and use the advance option fold button on preflop hands that i am not going to play. however, i have to be carefull, because sometimes, i go to advance action fold a hand on one table, when i had aces on another. right before i advance action fold my crappy hand, my table where i have aces (or some other good hand) pops up, and activates itself and i inadvertantly fold my aces. huge problem.
also, when i am typing something, such as this post, tables keep popping up and stealing focus from what i am typing. this isn't so much a huge problem as it is a minor annoyance. however, all 3 of these problems stem from the same issue. pokerstars tables automatically activating themselves. as far as i'm aware, there is no option to turn this off. oh, wait. there is. let's see, there is the 'popup table whenever user action is required' option, and also the 'single click table activation' option. now, i'm not sure what the 'single click table activation' option does. i've tried turning it on and off, and i can not tell what it does. i have also tried turning off the 'popup table whenever user action is required' option, and this is just impossible. now, i only play 9 tables, and they are tiled with minimum overlap, but with this option turned off, it is still kind of hard to tell what table the aciton is on. i don't like.
so if there is a way to have the table popup over the others, BUT NOT ACTIVATE. please let me know. like i said, as far as i know, there is no way to do this. so if someone knew of a way to write an AHK script to stop the table from activating itself until i manually click which table i want to be active would be immensly appreciated.
