Hi,

I am a programmer looking to start working with AHK script and image recognition, writing something very small for personal use but in the same vein as Table Ninja or minimaxmod. I have no idea what language they are even written in and I am looking for help in getting started.

Is this a good place to start

You can look at PokerShortcuts topic, that program is ahk based, has image search and pixelcount functions implemented and free source now.
