Assuming Team Shakeweight are eliminated and thus, understandably, don't want to play then we can work something out. But working out whether we are finishing this round as planned or drawing up a new plan without them is the first step.

what seems to be necessary for this competition to move forward is the acknowledgement of those willing and available to continue to participate, or those unwilling or unavailable, to come forward and state their position.

only once we know who is on board can we proceed.

we will continue with US players playing on Star's Homegame for play$ and the non-US player willing to accomodate

with everyone on board we can continue where we left off, otherwise we will come to an agreement to modify the format, in order to continue and determine a winner. We can delay concerning ourselves with how the US winner's will collect their prize until a winner is determined.

Hey guys... as a member of Team Shakeweight I am interested in either throwing in the towel or playing out the last match with play money for fun, either way is fine with me.

Could the individual members of each team who are active on here ask their teammates if they're going to continue?

So I am 100% willing to continue in this. I am also willing to respectfully decline to win (I guess some call it give up) if there isnt enough team-interest. Obviously, Team Shakeweight is an underdog to win this (but similar to prison, we can still come from behind with a surprise attack).

round 4 was the last completed round. 2 matches between MMRR and OMGDS in round 5 were played and each team won 1 and lost 1, so no advantage.

MY Proposal: we use the first 4 rounds to determine 'seeding' for a playoff between the final 3 teams to determine the winner. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers finished 1st, OMG doublesuited 2nd and Bi-Winning Asstastics 3rd.

in the playoff each team will play each other team once, with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers as the home team in both their matches as they are the 1st seed, OMGdoublesuited is home team in its match vs Bi-winning Asstastics as they finished 2nd seed, and so consequently Bi-winning Asstastics are the away team in both their matches.

the team that wins both of their matches wins the competition.
if each team wins 1 and loses 1 its the most individual matches won.
if the individual matches are also tied then the 2 teams tied play a tie-breaking match to determine a winner.

**to deal with shorthanded teams (as OMGdoublesuited at this time can only confirm 4 members) the shorthanded team gets to select members to play more then 1 match. the team will list the member that has been selected to play more then 1 match when posting the roster and it will not be the same member in both team matches.
as I believe MightyMorphinPower Rangers is all 6 member strong, i'll leave it up to you to determine if the team matches should be 6 matches(eliminating the alternate, but requiring a tiebreaker of some sort) 5 matches (utilizing an alternate) or even 4 matches (eliminating the need for someone to play more then 1 individual match)

lets get this thing rolling

i dont mind the idea of a 3 way playoff since i do not know if there is another way to figure this out. the only thing i do not like is allowing the shorthanded team to determine who they want to play multiple matches. i feel like this is an unfair disadvantage that they get by having teammates drop out. so i guess that would mean that i favor 4 matchups with alternatives. i also dont mind having 5 or 6 matchups as long as the other players are drawn at random to determine who plays multiple matchups. i do not know how we would accomplish this.

so to determine randomly which players on a shorthanded team would play multiple matches i'll suggest that the team sits together for a hand of NHLE or PLO and flips, the winner of the flip is the first to play twice. the remaining teammates flip again to determine who would be next to play twice.

i would think this should take place prior to the posting of the rosters so that the home team has this information when determining the match ups.

i like it. now question is how many players play? should we have 5 players so that its an odd number or should we have 6 so that our whole team plays?

I might be the only one who believes this but im not sure that the 3rd place team should be able to win just 2 n they win it all I think the fact that they are 2-2 n the other two teams are 3-1 they should have a tougher road of some sort since all the work prior to what we've done

I don't have a very good way to solve this but being the road team really isn't that big of a disadvantage in my mind to really be put in the same situation as the other two teams....maybe buying them out n playing for 75 instead or someone thinking of a way to giving them a harder road somehow because I don't think being the away team is anywhere near fair enough

i kinda agree with this but i dont think there is anyway to solve it
