I have made about five final tables in the 3.30 horse tourney (micros) each time I make a deep run I seem to manage to get bullied when it comes to the O8 round.

I have a hard time countering the aggressive players and manage to blow off my stack or get just get owned. I am constantly finding myself lost in a hand and playing way too tight. Here are some hands that maybe you guys can shed some light on. That last hand I totally butchered. Any input will be appreciated.

That's a truly terrible starting hand.
When you call SB's raise, what flops are you planning to continue with? You have to figure that SB will probably continuation bet the flop, even without a good fit. If you can't come up with enough flops to continue, you've better off folding to the raise.

Hero's ahead here, unless Villain has a pair of aces or a trey. You're way behind if Villain has either one. Both of these are plausibly possible, but unlikely.

I can't tell you what to do, only that calling the pre-flop raise is inconsistent with folding to the flop bet.

OK except I like calling the pre-flop raise with this hand better than the first hand. If you had to call with either one, you might have at least selected the one with an ace.

Maybe OK as a change of pace, but not as a general rule. Either fold to the bet or call to see one more card. Of the two choices, I have a preference for folding. Raising seems out of the question. Bottom two pair, fives and threes, is not a good hand in Omaha-8. You probably have the best high hand at this point, but that's not likely to last.

Thanks for the insight buzz. There were other (few) hands that were played in which it was an easy fold or raise. These ones were the ones that I had trouble with the most. It seems like Im knitting it up when we get shorthanded.

Either this guy was running hot or he was just running me over since he knew I was more prone to fold. That last hand I decided to take a stand (in other words i was kinda steaming) with my weak two pair. The turn was bad but the river was just dirty. I folded cuz I didnt think I was ahead here. (as i had no low hand) I guess I could of called but thought I could play better in the stud hands.
