I played the PLO8 last year and busted at 800/1600 after moving tables. I am still kicking myself about it because I played great until then when I decided to just get all my chips in preflop with AK62ds vs someone who had me covered. All that discipline and I just throw it away.
Before that I remember stacking a guy for a huge pot after I limped the button behind a bunch of limpers with 3345 and it came 2-3-Q rainbow. The guy bet the flop, I raised him pot, he got it in with 456 with some other insignificant card and it ran out 9-J.
I remember another good hand where I limped the button again with AKQJds behind a bunch of limpers yet again and it came something like T-9-x. Guy bet out I think I called and we got it in on the turn when I made a straight with the nut flush draw and he was drawing dead with a worse straight. One of those gin spots where it seems like everything is perfect... the board, the action, the hole cards, the position... everything!
By then I was up to 40k or so.
All downhill after that though!
