My playing is slow-paced, single tabling $1.50 without table selection. Started in August. Probably got hooked on hypers partly because I ran so good in the beginning? Promised to give an update at 1000 games. My initial roi of 40% has dwindled down to 2% , good thing is the ev is approaching the real winnings:

Have payed $100 in rake, won $30. As they say, rake is a problem, among others.

The bb/100 is about 12, the ev bb/100 is about 9, ev-graph quite smooth, tells good things, even if I have played only 20k hands:

Here's also the chip graphs, ev that smooth that small sample probably has some significance:

So, interesting to see if I'm staying in the green, at least poker isn't ruining me . And haven't joined the fish, but the slightly winning break-evens, that's my place in the poker world.

You can see why I hunted the $10 VIP stellar reward in the end of last year.

Nice graphs Plaaynde, its always good for morale when you get some feedback from results that you're a winner in a new type of game, even if only a small winner. Not sure if you have any plans moving forward, but I find its good to have goals and milestones to reach. Perhaps you could aim for 3% ROI over 1,500 played.

All the best with it moving forward, I'm sure you'll give another promising update when you get to 2,000

P.S ty C. Brown, I always wonder what best times are in terms of both player traffic and also quality of the field, but yea Sundays are great for both. During weekdays it seems a little less clear though.

Thanks. I just get kicks out of poker, glad to be able to do that for free. The sweetness of gambling: what's happening next? What am I gonna do? Will things turn around? Will I learn?

sounds like you are on the right track... you are similar to my make jamesflunker (now my flatmate), who is a small stakes grinder... he has spent a good few years and now seems to be benefiting from a few years under his belt

Is that freak "unnatural disaster" really "juicy_j_93"?

My god I hate that player more than anyone, luckiest fish EVER. I mean [slurs and insults deleted] but J_J should know better. Tens of thousands of games and yet the only play he has is allin from the SB with any 4 cards. [insult deleted] On several occasions I have sat with J_J and played 50+ games, with J_J outdrawing me in 45 of them - SB shoves 2 T J Q bust my A A 2 3. YAWN.

Seriously lol'd. Looks we have a different modding policy than before. Buzz tried to teach us with more words.

Juicy_j_93 is nothing but a luckbox fish. You wanna know why he wins? Because after tens of thousands of games, he has evolved to the point where his only play is allin from the SB and button with any 4 cards. I have sat in sessions of 50+ games with J_J (aka miley cyrus) and seen him outdraw me in 45 of them - allin from SB 2 J T Q, busts my A A 2 3, allin from button 3 4 8 9 ds, busts my A 2 4 5ds. The dude is a serious fish and if PS ran to true odds, he would be bankrupt. He is right up there in the top 10 worst supernovas I have ever seen. And I'm comparing him to booink, wadzon, bokkie, yoeyonfire, idb99, bleu329 and all the other fools playing $200 + hyper turbos lol

Got a polite ticking off from the mod and thought my previous comment was deleted entirely. What use is the internet without absolute freedom of speech? By the way mod, I insult J_J much more in the PS client, isn't that right Miley?

And hi Bob, nice to see not everyone here is a total fish

Serious question guys I wonder why so many of you prefer to play N/L Hypers instead of P/L or F/L cash ?

Surely if you are a good player then it is better to play cash where there is less variance and most hands aren't all in pre when you are often less than a 55% favourite ?

I have played a few Hypers but I feel I have a much bigger edge and its far easier to exploit the fish playing cash games when you actually get to see a flop.

Do you prefer Hypers for the VPP's or just because you like gambling or some other reason ?

Can't speak for the rest but I play them just for fun. Like you say, even when you are allin pre with the best hand, margins are slim and variance is high, so fish are much more likely to do well @ hypers than slow blinds, PL or cash.

If you get a day where you run true you can make decent cash from hypers though - I've had a few days (between $7-30) when I've made $1,000 + in a single session. However, the other 350 days of the year I get slaughtered, so I've stopped playing >$30 hyper.

I really don't know why anyone would play $500 hyper-turbos (wadzon, bokkie, J-J, idb99, bleu329, yoeyonfire, magic dust, 1checkitout1, macros, jani osmo (proper player)) when that $500 could go to a cash game, the wednesday $530 PL OH8, Sunday Mil + warmups or SCOOP, TCOOP etc.

Thanks mod, I like you, but you are fighting a losing battle. Ask these guys what I'm like at the tables - no censorship whatsoever and I have learnt to swear in 5 diff languages - had my chat banned by PS maybe 8 times in the last 2 years. I give it a max of 10 more posts before you bar me from this forum, mostly because I hate the majority of [deleted]
