So i started playing o8 seriously since DEC-JAN. hit my first 15 BI downswing. Confidence is shot, no faith in my game, and i want to punish my monitor. How do you guys get over a downswing?

tighten up. even if you are still running bad, you will stop losing as much as quick. just play less hands, sure it may slow your recovery, but it's good for sanity.

I back off, study my game, adjust, and re-group. It helps me to re-read Zee (High-Low-Split Poker).

Make sure you're well rested before you play. And stop if you get discouraged. Don't keep playing, trying to get back to even.

If you can't seem to beat the guys you're playing, maybe it's because they're better than you are. In that case either quit playing with that group and seek an easier group or tighten up, observe carefully, and take a lesson.
