Started Feb horribly. Dropped down a level and worked it back up. Interesting month to say the least!

Solid Feb. for me. I am really happy with the results in cash and MTT's right now. Add to that winning 5 5400 fpp sng's for the sunday million seat out of 6 tries (and taking the $t instead) and I was up 3400 for the month. My goal is to continue to work on both cash and MTT games and make an avg of 6000 playing O8 cash and NLHE/O8 MTT's by the end of this year while playing no more than 50 hours a week.

Don, out of a 50hr work week, what percentages of time are spent on cash and MTT's?

great question Noobster. Last month I played an avg of 63 hours a week to rebuild my bankroll which is waaaaaaay too much. Of that % I would say 70/30% is cash tables. I find tournaments take up alot of my mental energy especially in NLHE because I am looking for any tells my opponents may have and writing a ton of notes therefore I usually dont play cash tables at the same time. I have to remind myself some tournamewnts will go anywhere from 5-12 hours pending which ones I am in ( IE #33 plo8 or sunday million if I win a seat).

So I was up like 2k in MTTs on stars, bricked pretty much all FTOPS, dropped some cash at PLO100 and 3/6 PLO8

Overall up a bit, but nothing great

Guess the only O8 I'll play this month will be MTTs baring boredom from NLHE and PLO

Nice month. Not so much for me. Bricked 5 FTOPS events including the ME. FOrtunately I won a little over 5BI at 5/10 NLHE Live (though I gave some of it back in various tournaments). Overall kind of sucky:

Online ~<3k> mostly tournaments
Live ~+3k
FPPs ~+1k

Not as much play in March and then back at it after April 15 (I am a CPA).

Little brag if I may since February is over. Took down over 45 Buy ins at .10/.25 for the month. Already up 4 BI's for March.

looking for a good value ergonomic chair. I'm 6'5 and my back has been killing me.

My budget is like $2-400.

saw one that seemed good at staples.

Forssa Black Mesh Executive Chair -$200

any recommendations?

Just pony up and get an Aeron chair, never heard anyone complain about it and it should last long

After a tough month in Jan, Feb has been very kind to me. Also done 95K VPP for the year, 99% from PLO8.

What is your VPP target for the year?

I expect to get 300k+ perhaps 400k depending on how long I am in Vegas for the WSOP.

not baller enough to spend over 400 at most on a chair. def in a year or two

600k which = $50k rakeback. And 100k rake paid of course... Gonna be fun looking at the figure come the end of the year, if I get there.

Did you really play 12k hands to win $40? What did you get in RB and bonuses?

Just curious.

Yea but I'm just learning how to grind properly. In the last month I've increased the number of tables I play from 4 to 12, so it's a learning curve. Downswing didn't help But I made about $100 in bonus's and $140 from NLHE MTT's. I didn't expect my first month to be a huge winner. Made $40 today btw LOL.

Grim....are you 12 tabling .05/.1 PLO8? It doesn't seem that setup would be all that conducive to learning. You're certainly grinding hard, but are you learning the nuances of the game? Just curious.
