I have the feeling that the high bar set by the wire won't be matched again for me.

The waterfront looks nice in the wire. Is there much to do in Baltimore?

Yeah good bit to do. Normal medium sized city stuff...some museums, waterfront, good restaurants, some good bar spots...Both stadiums are great though the Orioles are LOL... Seafood is the best if you like seafood.

from losing player to average player to winning player or whatever adjective you'd put in front of 'player', how would you describe a player who lost $600 in one year (my dad) of uber micro stakes but earned $515 in rakeback (meaning he paid over $2,000 in rake)...?

he's taking more money from opponents than they are from him (hence the 'winning'), but he's essentially getting killed by the rake. he likes to play a ton of those SNG's and tourneys that are like $2+$0.25 and I keep telling him if he'd play one step higher he'd probably have the same results but would be a net winner at the end of the year.

Well he is crushing the games for 7 bb/100, unfortunately he is paying 9 bb/100 rake at that limit.

The question you should ask yourself is, does your dad need the money? Is paying $85 for a years entertainment at the poker table worth it?
