Do people with knowledge of the game not want to lend a helping hand? Do people with knowledge of the game not want to lend a helping hand?

It seems that you can find all the knowledge out there for holdem such as which hands to play in each position, strategy, concepts, yet for Hi-Lo I can't really find any info for the game that will have you beating it, is it because Hi-Lo players saw how everyone in Hold'em got better and don't want the same to happen for this game? If anybody does have any advice to improve my game please help!

well, it's more complicated than hold'em, so there is no general strategy that can be teached. however, we have lots of fruitful discussions of particularly interesting hands here in the forum. so feel free to read them and join the discussion or make use of the chance to post hands yourself and hear what people think about it.
cheers

OP,

Welcome to the forum. The reason the materials for O8 are not as voluminous as for NLHE is that the number of O8 players is dwarfed by the number of HE players. That having been said, there still have been a number of books on the game and a wealth of information provided on this forum alone.

General advice about the game can be found by reading through the "newb" thread at the top and going through old threads. After you do that, if you have specific questions, feel free to post them. Good luck.
