Villain had respect playing before as a good tight player in NLHE tourneys. He seemed V tight VVV tight in stud then woke up and was aggr in Stud 8... still played very marginally... last O8 round he played somewhat tight but V aggr with flush draws or any A2xx. I wanted to raise preflop but felt it was better to see the flop. Am I ahead or destined to lose/split?

There's certainly a *chance* you're behind here, but your hand is strong enough that it's necessary to get it in here. Also, given your read I'd expect Villain in the BB to raise any A2xx when you complete your SB.

Since this is a tournament and Villain seems short-stacked, you should be raising and applying pressure preflop.

How is all the money not going in here? This is a no brainer. Who cares if you're ahead or quartered, you're never folding so it doesn't matter.

You have a wheel in a two handed game! You're well ahead, more than 3 to 1. As simultated, that translates to getting at least part of the pot 100% and getting it all about 55.5%.
