5-10-20 Big O. V1 in BB is a mediocre lag. Plays too many hands. V2 in straddle is a station pre and loves to gamble post. Hero is shortest stack with 2.5K, they’re about 4K eff.

Hero in sb with AA356 with dry 6s and no clubs

Pre: Folds to hero who opens 60, V1 raise to 120, V2 cold calls. Hero pots to 480 and both call.

Flop (1440) : Q83ssc
Hero..

We have about 2K.

Seems like a crystal clear pile it in

I don’t reraise preflop but just call.

As played I check and see what they do.

I fold to a pot size bet.

Think Hero has a clear jam as played but I might call the min-raise instead of 4!

Imo no real decisions even, I'd always 4-bet and now need to rip of course.

Im clearly missing something but why is it a clear jam here?

What do we beat? I feel we are behind on both the hi and lo

In low SPR spots its generally correct going with almost any AA + okish low draw. And better to push than to call with this combo.

Note: Hero has many hands in range that connect more strongly with this board, so villains may make some incorrect folds.

Instead of "what do we beat?" the correct question is "what is my equity against their range?". Since the pot is already huge, you don't need that much equity to stack off.

This seems like one of the worst possible flops for hero. We really want to put all our money in here just hoping that loose action players might overfold?

Not even close to the worst! Worse than average for sure. Money should be put in because that is the way you realize your equity.

So if we would have just called preflop instead of potting, how would you have played this flop?

Check-fold for sure.
