Poker Stars $2.56+$0.64+$0.30 No Limit Omaha Hi/Lo Tournament - t75/t150 Blinds - 5 players
DeucesCracked Poker Videos Hand History Converter

BB: t2320 15.47 BBs
UTG: t2510 16.73 BBs
Hero (CO): t2443 16.29 BBs
BTN: t4687 31.25 BBs
SB: t1540 10.27 BBs

Pre Flop: (t225) Hero is CO with J

1 fold, Hero ?

BTN is 40/19/3.1 over 110 hands, note: call AI w KK89 for stacks w 6 left as 2nd CL. He calls light when he has a lot of chips and I can not expect to get him to fold often on the flop.

With that in mind is it a fold PF?

first though was all-in

you think BTN will call a shove with most hands? if so, we may prefer waiting

assuming a more normal situation such as BTN folding everything but top 10% hands I shove happily.. winning the blinds is a good result and we are likely to be a favorite if we get a caller.. if we get 2 or more callers we are less happy but should still have enough expected equity for it to be break-even

What has that got to do with the hand?

As to hero's play. I'd shove that in the SB and probably BTN. CO seems a bit icky and with little FE from the big stack especially I just muck.

My first thought as well. But given the fact that BTN most likely will call me I also think that waiting is better. I don’t like raising either. I did shove and BTN called me w KK34 and the SnG was over for me. But good to hear some other opinions also – after all I am still a SnG donk.

No.

Well it was the 18 man that caused me the most problems, but I do play 6, 9 and 18 SnGs.
