How often does villain stone cold CR bluff that turn card. Fold. As to leading I prefer a check there against said villain and a fold if he bets out. Sometimes you have to play ABC.

I like your play as long as you are able to b/f the turn.

I agree with this but with maybe slightly smaller betsizing but it depends on hero's overall betsizing. I also like it if you can fold and show to advertise your double barrel range to encourage some expensive bluff raises by the table in the LR.

Fold & show is a terrible idea. Makes you exploitable more than it gets you advertising dollars. If you never show, you always keep em guessing.

Meh. It isn't a terrible idea if it has a motive for plays in the LR. It isn't an error never to show and neither is it an error to show every now and again.I play on one site that has it and have used it a couple of times recently that has paid uber dividends against certain thinking players. I don't make a habit off it if that's what you're are suggesting. Most sites don't have it so it isn't a worry. Always betting out and folding turns makes you exploitable as well if we are talking about exploitability.

I have to say i would never show. You are giving away too much info. Poker is an information game above anything else.

Best is to never show.

Also never complain and never explain.

i hear that

but that kinda assumes someone will exploit you

not really happening at 10c/25c

its like bart hanson says about the 10/20 game at commerce, "when you play live, playing exploitable is often the best way to play" (deuce plays, deucescracked)

What size would you make your flop and turn bets with my hand?

Im not often going to be betting the turn and then folding, so I wont worry too much about being exploited and will also point out...

Didn`t read the replies, but I don`t like it. Make the 9 on the flop an 8 and I like it a lot more... in this spot though the turn card hits his range pretty ****ing hard.

What is wrong with taking a free card on the turn? He already called the flop bet and the turn may have hit his str8. Either the river hits your broadway or you get to bluff the nut flush or you fold your badugi aces with no low. It makes it a harder call for the villian if the flush does hit.

Although by checking here, if you do hit broadway or the heart comes, the villian is less likely to bluff the river. However, I have seen river shoves with the 2nd nut str8 that just got counterfeited at this level. I think that they shove any river because they are mad that they could not check raise the turn with their nut str8.

With only AA and also a pair of 9s both for single pair.

I find, even if not knowing the player you should check.
Take the free card.
It makes the river decision easier, and you aren't putting yourself in a tight spot based on your hand.

A bet on a turn J on that board is a bold one... It most likely helped your opponent.

I feel you are better off Checking turn behind the up front and calling a river bet or raising depending on a 10 coming.

You put yourself in a tight spot there.

Best of luck.
