Playing in a 10/20 HOE game.

LP is a laggy vietnamese guy, BTN is loose passive, UTG is beyond horrible.

I have A268 in the SB

UTG limps, LP raises, BTN calls, Hero calls, BB calls.

Flop: 228

Check to LP, LP bets, BTN calls, Hero raises, BB folds, UTG calls, LP calls, BTN calls.

Turn: 2283

Hero bets, UTG calls, LP calls, BTN calls.

River: 2283Q

Hero bets, UTG raises, LP 3-bets, BTN thinks for a long time and reluctantly calls, Hero?

Anyone like a 3 bet pre?

At game speed I put the $40 in the river, and ask who's buying dinner.

OP, I think you played it fine.

I'd lean towards 3-betting pre given that the game seems very juicy, but can't fault flatting this oop.

On the flop, going for the c/r is o.k, I also like leading, hoping to b/3b.

Turn and river bets are correct, of course...

I don't like to see your bet raised twice on the river, but I wouldn't fold.
If I thought someone was trying to promote something, I might have been tempted to 4-bet and promote my own 4th nut low, but not against these particular opponents...
Just call and move on, not before taking notes based on their showdown hands...

Hope you got something from the pot after all...

lead flop

tip about checkraising in multiway pots: when you want as much bets as possible go for a checkraise when the preflop raiser is directly to your left, lead when he is last to act. when you want to thin the field do the opposite.

also if you are ever in a situation where you must call at least 2 bets cold on the river, you need the nuts in at least one direction the majority of the time. this is a fold on the river.

I would normally lead the flop here- a couple factors that made me c/r were that I thought laggy guy would c-bet 100% of his hands and UTG was so bad they would rarely fold anything even to 2 bets on a board with 2 low cards. But I guess bet/3-bet would be a really good outcome here too.

Thanks for the replies- For the guys who want to call, do you still call river without the low?

Spoiler:

Hero calls, UTG calls and shows 33, LP shows QQ, Hero's A6 holds up for the low, BTN mucks god knows what

probably not. when people start going crazy on a river Q, it means your high should be no good. the weak low must be a loser, too, but it adds a little something to your overall prospects. again, you may expect to get nothing the majority of the time and still find a profitable call, based on pot (half, quarter, w/e) odds...
