just wondering what the difference is playing these two levels i for some reason go so much better at 2-4 and totally struggle at 1-2

just cant work out why

did any here find any difference when moving up from 1-2 to 2-4

Yeah I think there is a difference. i think they play looser at 2/4 and more aggressive. And the money is much more significant.

if at stars, it may be for the nit factor. under the previous system, the cutoff for fpps was lower at 1/2 than 2/4.

I destroy 1/2 and am breaking even at 2/4 so far - although my EV adjusted is positive

I just think in general you get punished more for mistakes, like calling raises oop against good players with ok but not great hands.

2/4 also plays a little more aggressive, especially in the 6max games.

angribob my screen name is 78OFFTILT. if i'm not playing $1/$2 limit o8 both full and 6max, u can find me playing 5 card draw, razz, stud 8, horse, pl 25max o8, or the occasional sit n go and mtt. also love 2-7 no limit. i'm even expanding to PLO. next month due to my recent success i am moving to $2/$4 limit though. check my Location regularly to see how i am doing, i update it daily.

thought OP meant limit, to which my thoughts apply. i have no comment on PL/NL as i never have played that high.

also i get the same result with heads up play at these two levels but it's even worse i really just break even at 1-2 HU and 2-4 am a winner.

are they more aggressive at 1-2 HU ? like just trying to bluff more ?
