What's weird is I can't tell what level McCain, Graham, Sasse and such are on. I'd probably call them 'conservatives' that believe in Republicanism. But, like I said, Senators hands are tied down by the office. The institution itself. They can't do anything to nudge the system back without 'conservatives', who still do exist, like high-level State employees who resigned, rogue elements of the Deep State, DOD, and so on. When I said that I didn't believe the military would fire on civilians, these are those I meant. They resigned and went rogue for a reason, they accept the Republic, understand what it is for, even if many of them are reactionary inclined.

These are useful allies, because they are willing to concede positions when the Republic is working. You can't just flush them because there are conservative constituents within the nation who will defect to the white nationalists in crisis to save themselves, and because. the entire point of the Republic is negotiation. War by other means. That's what this phrase refers to; when the Republic falls, there are no other means... so, war. The Senate is a place where the Constitutional elements of the government negotiates with the people (think negotiated surrender, lol), and foreign powers. It's not exactly where change comes from, it's more like who gets credit.

Power politics is very real. It isn't disappearing anytime soon. The fight isn't about your life time. It started before things were written down. And almost the entirety of this theory was developed back then. It's just slightly modified. Same principles apply. On and on and on.

So, tldr, do something.

Like I said, we'd use an escrow. Learn to read before you post please.

Trump says he will be announcing his Supreme Court nomination next week

No idea how long that process normally takes, but once that's locked in his influence becomes much longer than how many years he actually serves as President

Oh, McCain and Graham are on to it.

Impressive statement, last paragraph is hot fire. I don't even know if Trump realizes that he needs to kiss McCain's ass.

What happens if the Dems win a landslide in 2 years?
01-28-2017 , 11:50 AM
It's mathematically impossible. 25/33 senate seats are D and the gerrymandering is out of control.
01-28-2017 , 11:56 AM
I see. Hence WAAF.

Nixon had Dems in control of both houses. We are depending on a GOP congress and GOP voters. The GOP must turn on Trump, revolution, or fascism. WAAF. I guess there's a chance we just live through an awful administration, but what's on the other side?

Big business interests have to start bitching soon right? Other than oil and **** I mean. This immigration issue has caused Google to recall all employees and says 187 people working abroad were directly affected by the order.

Quote:
Pichai noted in his memo that a minimum of 187 Google employees were directly affected by the ban. Google offered an official statement on the matter to Bloomberg:

We’re concerned about the impact of this order and any proposals that could impose restrictions on Googlers and their families, or that create barriers to bringing great talent to the U.S. We’ll continue to make our views on these issues known to leaders in Washington and elsewhere.
I can't imagine trade wars helping his cause.

If i was a book, then yes ofc. As is, obv such a bet is not feasible. Nor is the utility justified.

A number of Russians rounded up on charges of spying for the US the week Trump takes office. DJT executed for treason is now on the board!

Re that story

I'm no cold warrior, but I've always been a bit shocked about Russian internet security products (Kapersky) being used.

You'd think this would be a bigger story

i doubt there are any established procedures or norms within cia for dealing with a president who has known russian ties who got elected with help from russian intelligence, followed shortly by cia assets within russian intelligence getting uncovered and arrested
01-28-2017 , 02:04 PM
I'm fairly certain they are going to go rogue. What that looks like, exactly, I have no idea. But if he keeps this **** up, I would imagine removing him from office will be the goal.

You are a man without a clue. Get one.

The military has a role. It isn't whatever you think it is, at all. You don't need to elaborate. I know what you mean on it from this wording above, this is a reply to the entire argument. Stop posting. Forever.

A very high level asset who infiltrated Russia was arrested yesterday and charged with treason (by Russia). They can't all resign. All of these assets will be exposed by Bannon and co. The fascists abroad had some difficulty communicating directly without infiltration from these elements in the Deep State, but this process is underway right now. It's not an American fascist revolution, all of Europe is next. They won't stop. This is... what they do. Genocide all the way down.

Either he's out before his term is up or in four years, this will be The National Socialist States of America.

So now we're crying about how the big tech corporations are going to suffer?

Article on Google Profitability

Google, MSFT, etc. want to keep on keeping their labor costs down with cheaper labor from H1-Bs. Hard to blame the tech companies for wanting to pay less for quality engineering work. I work in the tech industry and there is a lot of resentment among USA technology workers about H1-Bs. It is actually a pretty complicated situation.

I was saying they might have sway to stop this nonsense when they start voicing their opinions before they suffer or when they start to suffer. Not sure about the rest of your post.
