Oh I get that that's what he's going for, just not why anyone thinks he's apt to succeed.

He really doesn't. He's not frothy and/or alpha enough for the base and he's not charismatic enough for the general electorate, imo. He might have a shot in 8 years, when he looks less apt to get a wedgie and his lunch money stolen.

There are people who will say "anyone but Trump" or "anyone but Jeb". I don't think there are people saying "anyone but Rubio". Nobody is screaming his name out either, but there aren't too many people who are dead-set against him.

Thing about cruz is he is so ****ing awful to look at and listen to. Is anybody going to deny the fact that everyone who has ever spent any time with him hates him? His candidacy is like the emperor has no clothes but at the end, with him on the stage accepting the nomination the kid says but mommy he is ****ing disgusting...and all the grownups stop and look at each other and say...he IS ****ing disgusting!

That's a fair point, but I'm really thinking about the general. I'll allow he might have a better shot in the primary than I've been thinking (because I always assume primary voters are minded to vote in terms of actual election prospects).

Ehh... I think the guy's FOS mostly, but people making an attempt to learn from people they believe to be intelligent should probably be thought of as a good thing overall. Like- you really don't want to know how much I spent on tickets to watch professional wrestling today.

Yup.

Real World cast members get like 20K a pop to open clubs. Y'all are on some Suzzer BS right now.

Republicans often think that the general election will be easy once they nail Hillary Clinton for something and everything looks like a potential smoking gun to them. The concerns you have about Rubio after the primaries don't bother them as much. They just want to avoid someone with negatives that cancel out their perceived advantage against Hillary.

Yes I do.

I'd still like some elaboration on how Ben Carson telling the world what "the CIA" told him is OK. Is the lack of outrage there a concession he made that **** up?

Isn't "making **** up" much worse, candidate-wise?

Yeah, if you go around the #tcot-ier parts of the internet, Trey Gowdy Supercop is literally going to put Hillary in prison. The GOP has talked themselves so far down the rabbit hole on Hillary they are acting like they already nailed her

I think much of the party is way too confident in the general election prospects but Rubio support is not evidence of this belief. Rubio is polling better than Bush in the GE match ups.

Malcom Gladwell makes a TON from talks. He's like the the perfect mix of smart but not too smart for corpoate events and random conferenes about things like trends in interior decorating and modern ball bearings.

I suspect he knows how to party down rich person style better than most pro athletes.

For both the RAW and Smackdown I've been to around here you could get really good tickets for about $100. If there were tickets at $200 they weren't even available via pre-sale IIRC.

Let's say you want to be on the side opposite the hard cam, with a good view, and close enough for a shot at being able to touch Roman Reigns.

Shows for the Raw at Pittsburgh have "Platinum" seats on the floor going for $395.

Dids is cheap and didn't pony up for the $5,875 - $6,625 Texas Star package that includes a dude ranch outing with WWE legends.

It's a lot of money, but are you really making fun of Dids for taking his kids to Wrestlemania?
10-13-2015 , 10:14 PM
Why would Dids take any kids to Wrestlemania?
10-13-2015 , 10:22 PM
Some kids like wrestling. Why not?
10-13-2015 , 10:24 PM
Meh some people go to Disneyland, some go to Wrestlemania.
10-13-2015 , 10:26 PM
Dids has kids?
