PPP's new New Hampshire poll finds Donald Trump in the strongest position of any poll we've done anywhere since he entered the race. Trump laps the Republican field with 35% to 11% for John Kasich, 10% for Carly Fiorina, 7% each for Jeb Bush and Scott Walker, 6% for Ben Carson, 4% each for Chris Christie, Ted Cruz, and Marco Rubio, and 3% for Rand Paul. Candidates falling outside the top ten in the state are Rick Perry at 2%, Lindsey Graham, George Pataki, and Rick Santorum at 1%, and Jim Gilmore, Mike Huckabee, and Bobby Jindal all at less than 1%. Everyone does have at least one supporter on this poll.

. . . .

There's been a big shift on the Democratic side since April as well. Bernie Sanders now leads the field in the state with 42% to 35% for Hillary Clinton, 6% for Jim Webb, 4% for Martin O'Malley, 2% for Lincoln Chafee, and 1% for Lawrence Lessig

Donald Trump holds a commanding lead among likely Republican primary voters in South Carolina, according to a new Monmouth University poll released Tuesday.

Three in 10 voters (30 percent) said Trump is their first choice, followed by retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson at 15 percent. Neither candidate has held elected office, and 61 percent of voters said they would prefer someone from outside of Washington to bring a new approach.

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush was lagging the top two choices at 9 percent, followed by former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio at 6 percent, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz at 5 percent, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker at 4 percent, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, Ohio Gov. John Kasich and Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul at 3 percent and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie at 2 percent. All other Republican candidates earned 1 percent or less.

Where in this do we get the postulation that "Asian children (in America) are really anchor babies"? That's what CNN's headline is pointing to.

I will surely be wrong but you have to wait for a national poll to confirm. I can't see an easy way to equate NH to national polling. Be patient!

I love the image of Trump sitting there on Twitter in the middle of the night going through all of his retweets. He must be having the time of his life. I'm also impressed that old white dude knows how to use Twitter.

Dude has to have a person that handles this for him, right? He may be new to politics but he has been managing his brand for a long time.

What I was talking about was the specific case of fraud being committed, where there's organized efforts -- and frankly it's more related to Asian people coming into our country -- having children in that organized effort, taking advantage of a noble concept, which is birthright citizenship.

We should have known that ikes meant he wouldn't resonate *with Hispanics.* He was right yet again.
One could perhaps argue that -51% net approval is a *form* of resonance... albeit not positive.

Maybe today it'll be "no, no, I meant Asian-Mexicans."

It is a click bait headline that Bush supporters and math able find unfair. Detractor's evidently think it is a fair summation.

Remarkably, people can be math able yet still understand the more common English usage of words and symbols that mean different things when placed in mathematical equations. I don't look at people who use "->" to represent an arrow on the internet and say "**** you that's not a pointer, you can't dereference that".

It's a shorter representation of "are". That's it. Understandably, hacks on this forum are furious.

More news that will Blow Seattlelou's Mind at 11.

So literally you will find any excuse for the use of a misleading headline against a political opponent and can't conceive how reasonable people might object? Mind not blown.
