Who Will Be The 2016 Republican Nominee? (It's Donald Trump) Who Will Be The 2016 Republican Nominee? (It's Donald Trump)

Not too mention he looks like a water buffalo...Which doesn't help him obv

Bush and Cheney ruined any chance for the gop to control the white house for quite a while.

Jeb Bush seems like an outstanding choice if you're diagnosed with downs syndrome and proceed to get run over by a bus. Though could say the same for the other candidates, gl to you fellow americans.

ok so those are a really creepy picture of santorum but i find ted cruz even creepier. Its actually kind of weird because i think its like everything about santorum reminds me of a kansas politician so its like im less creeped out by that hate I know than the hate I dont understand.

Cruz and Santorum are both crazy. The Dems wouldn't even have to put out their best option to run for president if either of those 2 won the GOP nomination. Let's say Hilary runs. She'll have Bill, Obama, Biden, Kerry, etc. behind her. If she doesn't run, whoever does run will have Hilary plus the others. No matter who runs from the GOP, it's a big battle to fight right from the get go. It's a huge risk if they decide to have Bush and Cheney back the candidate up. Rmoney basically wanted nothing to do w/ them.

The best candidate for Republicans would never and will never run--if history was different he could have been President, though--Chief Justice John Roberts. Dude is smarter than Cruz and more moderate.

SCOTUS Justice seems like such a sweet gig. Hard to imagine someone giving that for a POTIS shot, although Taft did just that.

Santorum doesn't strike me as crazy beyond the way anybody with a bad case of the ignorant jesuses is crazy. Dude's just hateful, ignorant and zealous.

Isn't Mitt Romney just a "generic Republican candidate" stand-in?

Think given hrc's clear inferiority to bill it should be Clinton vista

There does seem to be a clear "Romney was Right" PR push going on in conservative media. I guess they think they can reach soccer Moms in Ohio with it. Seems like a Hail Mary to me.

My money is still on Walker.

Just a murderer's row of terrible candidates for President.

I love that Republicans still think Jindal and Mike Huckabee are viable candidates. I guess at least Santorum isn't on that list... so... adapting???
07-11-2014 , 06:43 PM
I would have gone with Republican Redshirts
07-11-2014 , 06:45 PM
I will die laughing if they nominate Romney again

I seriously would take the field vs. everyone on the graphic+walker.

If I had to pick (for betting) a single candidate, it's Romney.

Jindal has never been and never will be a viable candidate. Huckabee won't run either.

It's basically between Christie, Paul, Ryan and Rubio.

You people just don't get it do you.

2016 is clearly the year of

Thaddeus McCotter.

In other news... Rick Perry is wearing glasses and going after Rand Paul. http://wapo.st/1q4xcpL

Definitely running. So you can make fun of him liberals, that should be fun.
07-11-2014 , 10:54 PM
Well, like I said before, he has a ton of basic advantages. He's a governor from a very successful state with a solid economic record in an election where the economy will probably be #1, #2 and #3 issue. The problem is that he had all of those advantages last time around and ****ing blew it in a spectacularly idiotic way. I see no reason for that to change.
