Who Will Be the 2012 Republican Presidential Nominee? Who Will Be the 2012 Republican Presidential Nominee?

Orly,
I thought it was Nixon who started affirmative action with the Phil. Plan and that JFK, along with his brother were trying to make MLK into a communist.

The "black friend" theory really doesn't work for me. They'd find a much more token way to show that then ****ing president of the USA. There are a lot better reasons to hate on the tea party. Sure there are racists within the party but to call the party racist as a whole is a pretty gross misrepresentation.

Why are you guys arguing over Cain? He is great for creepy animated gifs but hes never gonna get the nomination. Ever. You are wasting your breath.
10-29-2011 , 02:13 PM
I guess I agree, but I'd love to see him win the nomination. Seems like it would be a fun race to follow. Not like any of the guys I somewhat like have a chance in hell.

I'm not saying we have to bet but what kind of odds would you be willing to lay on that?

The thing is, there is no one in the country who is excited about romney for president. Maybe his mom but that's it. So bachmann santorum gingrich huntsman and paul are pretenders (although I would vote for huntsman if I had to vote for a republican) but romney cain and perry. Perry is a doof, Romney is the boring establishment guy.

Cain has a non-zero shot.

I thought the definition of racism was disliking people because of race, not personality/beliefs. So you are saying racist people can see past Cains race because they like his beliefs? Then according to you they aren't racist, they just dislike poor people? If they like people of any race who shares their beliefs then they certainly are not racists. I disagree,I think most repubs are racist,I don't care what the polls say wait til they actually vote.

I'd love to see him win the nomination also. Then RP could run as an independent and have a good chance to win.

of course the "Godfather" of the Tea Party is not included in the poll? Makes a lot of sense.

It's mentioned in the write up lol.

if you're talking to me ikes link to write up?

Couple straw polls today:

Ron Paul wins both tallies at GOP pres. straw poll in Iowa

82% Paul
15% Cain

Amazing how many candidates had more non-Iowans present. Cain and Paul had more Iowa supporters, but Perry, Santorum, Gingrich, Bachmann, and Romney had more non-Iowan supporters show up. lol

Herman Cain wins West Alabama Straw Poll after appearance in Tuscaloosa

51% Cain
45% Paul

Awaiting the "Cain and Paul strong in straw polls" headline.

A loltastic article:

"Confident Cain plans to cut back campaign events"

Hubris, it's not just for breakfast any more.
10-29-2011 , 08:51 PM
Seem like Cain certainly has a good shot at taking down the nom. It's still early in the game, and a Romney misstep or a good debate performance by Cain could allow him to pull far ahead.

Perry looks like he's pretty close to abandoning ship. His campaign just reeks of desperation at this point, what with the copycat flat tax plan and the Trump/birther nonsense.
