feltstein....
I'm really confused
I thought this was all in good fun
Of course, I'm proud I won, but I realize this is a silly donkament full of variance where many players hadn't even played some of the games in the rotation (****, while I've played limit holdem and limit omaha8 for a living in my lifetime, I've put in less than 3 hours on Stud, Stud/8, and Razz)
I did not realize I had taken my tongue-in-cheek bragging too far

still not sure how it turned into an attack on the Chicago School of economics

No problem. I've never needed a reason to attack the Chicago School. I can find one when I'm pumping gas or wiping my ass.

About the tourney, I was probably just sore and belly-aching.

You are the HORSE CHAMP (for now) ...

Damnit, did I miss it?

Bump for maybe we do it again when I have internets?

I was thinking of doing this again in September; maybe make it a once-per-month type of thing. There's probably enough interest. If people like Thursdays, maybe Sept 18th or 25th would work. I heard some people ask for this to move to Sundays, in which case maybe Sunday Sept 21st or the 28th?

I vote for Sundays.
08-25-2008 , 12:37 PM
What time Sundays?

Oh, that's actually a good question. The August 14th tournaments were held at 8pm/8:30pm because (I assume) lots of people here work 9-5s or are in school during the day. If we were to do it Sundays, I suppose we could move it earlier in the evening/afternoon.

Anyway, I'm open to suggestions.

Sunday evenings east cost time are locked up for me; I meet other crazy libertarians then.

I think ~3 on Sundays might be good considering how many people are on playing in the gig tournaments anyways.

which is weird because the only thing that could make sundays better would be if i could watch football and also kick someone in the nuts with flaming acid soaked steeltoe boots. Mutually beneficial transactions FTW!

I don't like Sundays because there's too much real grinding to be done, can't play 2 additional casual donkaments (one being HORSE of all things) on the side of all the other action.
08-25-2008 , 08:15 PM
Sundays sound unpopular; anyone else want input? Seems like Thursday nights remain popular.
08-25-2008 , 08:30 PM
Thursday night's're still good for me.
08-25-2008 , 08:47 PM
There is no way I am sacrificing a fall Sunday afternoon for a politard donkament.
