His neighbours were quoted saying he would go around warning them to be on the look out for young black men.

The guy was CLEARLY racially profiling to the point i think you have to be trolling to argue otherwise.

This was discussed earlier. Florida is a state where the prosecution has to show some evidence why its not, most states are where the defendant has to show some evidence why it is.

Basically you are admitting you shot someone dead so of course you should be able to show why you are justified to do so, though of course the level of evidence starts at your own statement when there are no witnesses.

Its relevant because it demonstrates a history of racial profiling.

As i said before this is clearly a racial thing. The only thing Trayvon did wrong in his life was be black in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Yeah, just started reading about this story..heard the zimmerman 911 call and dont hear a "****" vs "punk"confusion at all,but definitely "*******"...is there another 911 call from zimmerman?

Also, did the kid live in this neighborhood?

Imagine a scenario where you have had 100 crimes in the past year and 80 of them were by young black males. Is it racist or profiling to tell people to look out for young black males or say we have had a problem with young black males?

Did you actually listen to the call? His tone makes it clear that he doesn't just think Trayvon is black, he knows it. There was no hint of uncertainty in his voice.

A black neighbour was so worried about walking around his own neighbourhood because he fit the racial profiled description of a "suspicious person" he travels away from his area to go for a walk.

I'm guessing not, since people had to allude to the [censored] comment a half-dozen times before he noticed.
