- Abortion is illegal
- Marriage is between a man-and-a-woman
- Predominantly Christian (Catholic)
- Safe is important, but wealth is not
- Fairly robust civil society (competitive politics)
- I don't care about socialized medicine, and moral issues are more important than economic ones, but it should be a fairly pro-market place.
- Sexual mores are conservative (no premarital sex, adultery, etc.)
- Families are large and important (kids are valued).
- (Weekly) Church attendance is a big part of life.

Here are a few ideas, though I don't know if they are accurate: Ireland, United States, Poland, Peru, Mexico, Colombia...do any of those fit? Any other ideas?

Aren't some of the greek (or some Mediterranean country) islands pretty close to this? They are pretty small family oriented communities, take being Orthodox christians really seriously and are known for living an outrageously long time.

I remember seeing some documentary about these towns/islands and the average life expectancy of the island was like 100 or something and a group of researchers were trying to figure how they live so long.

OP, I think Portugal, Croatia, and Slovenia fit the bill. Parts of Italy and Sicily also.

OP if you just let the people tell the story of the town or w/e then every place could be ideal. The problem is no place is ideal. Rumor has it even these muslim countries mentioned itt are treasure troves of hot man-on-man action behind closed doors.
