statists for (all sorts of horrible things) statists for (all sorts of horrible things)

Since we have a whole thread dedicated to taking the idea that one guy who claims to be an ACist supports some idea that someone things objectionable can be used to smear everyone else who claims to be an ACist (or even sounds remotely similar to an ACist), I thought it would be good to be fair and balanced and start a thread listing just a few of the horrible things that statists support.

I'll kick things off.

* bridges to nowhere
* papers please
* taking your house to build a walmart
* jailing cory maye

Bonus! more stuff statists support:

What other fun stuff can you add to the list?

Well maybe if half the ACers on the forum didn't defend some form of indentured servitude, maybe everyone wouldn't have gotten so worked up about it.

i think this would have happened without states, too. Well, more importantly, slavery probably would have continued without states.

It's unfortunate that AC has never and will never be attempted so no one can post any pictures of what kind of horrible things would go on. But just to be fair, here's a photo of what I assume it would look like:

The public school I went to was way better then the nearest private school. And when my school became partially privatized (just as I left) it went down the drain. Absolute ****hole now; cameras everywhere, teachers have no freedom, everything requires permission from company, bags not allowed in corridor (apprarently because they scrape paint off the walls and that cost money), no social areas etc.

That being said I think a Friedmanesque voucher system would be best.

I hate this kind of sentiment. Well, this one school got worse when it was private, so obv more gov't is the answer! Get a clue man, the Dep of Education is a joke and a huge waste of money.

Also, people posting the Constitution: Do you realize how far we've come since then, in the wrong direction? We don't even follow it anymore!

Wait, you expect progress, efficiency, accountability, transparency, and RESULTS for all those billions we spend on education?
