Because those kids would rather have food stamps, Xbox, and cheetos than a father?

> 99% of murders are committed by people with 2 hands, < 1% of murders are committed by people with only one hand.

Why do you think bimanual people are so brutal and bloodthirsty? Is it something to do with the second hand overall, or is it fingers? Do you think the 7th finger is the tipping point that causes them to be so violent, or the 8th?

Terrible sexual education in our schools, and a theocratic society that teaches us that use of birth control and abortions is evil and wrong?

It's mostly that black families are a lot more poor.

I don't disagree with that, but I do believe my statement has quite a lot of truth to it. If sex wasn't so stigmatized in our country, we would have better sexual education, more access to birth control, and abortions for those who have accidental pregnancies. This would lower the rate of unwanted children and lead to less single parent households wherein one of the parents decides they have no interest in being involved.

How do you "accidentally" stick your penis into a woman's vagina?

This is an incredibly stupid post.

Saying a pregnancy is an "accident" is irresponsible imo. People know what happens when they have unprotected sex. You can call them unplanned pregnancies. But calling them an "accident" implies their is no fault, that couples don't bear responsibility for their actions.

I was actually speaking specifically of accidental pregnancies, times when adequate birth control is used and fails

And it's funny how many Republican policies you can trace this to.
- restricting contraception availability
- abstinence only sex education (LOL)

It's amazing that people like you don't connect the dots to your own culpability while whining about poor people multiplying.

Quit being so disingenuous. It gets old.

Seems like such an easy game, unless "sincerely held" unprovable beliefs get in the way.

A program that provides contraceptives to low-income women contributed to a 40-percent drop in Colorado's teen birth rate over five years, according to state officials.

The program, known as the Colorado Family Planning Initiative, provides intrauterine devices (IUDs) or implants at little to no cost for low-income women at 68 family planning clinics in Colorado.

If only 1% of the population is using condoms for birth control at any given time, and they're all using them perfectly, that adds up to over a million kids 18 or under right now who were accidental pregnancies.

You act like I'm saying something outrageous.

Better sex education, more access to birth control, and availability of abortions will lead to a lower birth rate specifically amongst teens and those not necessarily ready for child rearing

If you are so worried about the abandoned city kids, why would you not be 100% for all three of those things?

Umm... a lot of young people don't know. Especially in places where groups prevent schools from teaching sex ed.

Also- people still have accidents if they believe they're being responsible but still get pregnant.

wow. amazing.

If millions of couples are having sex a year... and 2% of them get pregnant, is that a lot of unintended babies or not?

Keep in mind that condoms are just one of many kinds of birth control methods many of which are less reliable then the condom.
