I wouldn't go swimming. But 7.4 is not terribly strong, you might see some waves. It's still going to be 150x less strong than the big tsunami, though. Not sure if you have any unique geography that might make things funnel toward you in a weird way though.

Elliot will claim to be meeting up with you a couple of times and then call from his private jet to blow you off.

TT.

Anyone have any experience with meeting someone from off of Craigslist... for anything? I've never used it before, and apparently, I'm in the craigslist capital of the world, so I'm tempted. Specifically, I want to score some weed, and there's a ton of 420 poasts on there. I'm afraid that

yougunnagetraped.jpg

tho.

1. PLEASE, no insulting lowball offers, I'm not desperate for money, just interested in getting more gear and this stuff is all unused so might as well get rid of it. If you don't know what something's worth, use Ebay or Prepal. DON’T write me asking how much I want. Make an offer.
2. I'm totally open to ANY reasonable trade, but I have much gear - don't need cheap guitars, broken ****, etc.
3. If the ad is up and pics posted, it's available - I don't answer anonymous emails asking that question. Leave a number if you're serious.
4. Advised trades (MY WISH LIST): A cheap bicycle, not a $400 TREK…. I would trade multiple items for an American guitar that will hold value. I need a cheap acoustic. I smoke. Not cigarettes. I play keys, would love a Yamaha CS-10/15 (if you have a CS-30 we gotta talk) or a Korg MS-10/20, Roland SH-series, Sequential Pro One, a mini/micro/multiMoog (NOT a rogue or a prodigy)…amps:Roland JC combo, Marshall JCM head, Mesa Recto-head….. A/C recharge on my piece of **** car, a heater core for my piece of **** car OR I’ll trade you my piece of **** car for your piece of **** BAND VAN. I’m into consumer electronics and computer stuff. I could use another Rhodes or Wurlitzer or both. I wear 24-hour watches of Russian military origin.

I DO NOT WANT: an old boat motor, guns, a $500 bike, a crappy broken bass guitar, baseball cards, neon signs, HVAC tools, a drill press with workbench, gay sex, cocaine, gold jewelry, and if I listed a Line 6 delay pedal then don’t offer me yours because that’s just #^$%ing stupid.(ALL offered so far)

If you're not offering CASH or something listed above, I probably won't be interested unless your mesage reads:
"Hey dude! I saw your ad on Craigslist and you sound cooler than a bean. I'm looking for a BOSS DS-1 distortion pedal. I'm low on cash right now, but I'd like to offer:
All the food in my refrigerator PLUS after you get done eating, we can smoke my entire stash of weed PLUS after we're all baked my incredibly hot submissive wife wants to give you the hest head you've ever gotten. That's all I'm offering, and I think it's a fair deal. Whattya say?"
09-03-2010 , 06:35 PM
Sounds like a really chill guy. That is easily the best craigslist ad I have ever seen.

But then again, I'm not as cute as Brian so maybe I wasn't asking for it.

I sold a bed, bought a file cabinet and a chair off there. Never had a problem. You should check OOT for the thread about the guy who tried to buy pot off of it, that was pretty damn funny. I forget who it was, though.

So it's looking like I will be ending my career as a poker player some time this month. Not a moment too soon as I am really starting to loathe the game. Not quite sure what job I'll be doing, as I'm kind of a jack of all trades so it doesn't really matter what my official title is, I'll end up with my hands in a bunch of things. It's nice to have people think well enough of you that they will hire you after a three year career hiatus.

Just got back from Machete. So epic, it's the ultimate **** the anti-immigrant right movie.

Beat: Left the remaining beers in the fridge at work last night instead of remembering to take them home.

Beat: Said beers are gone this morning.

7 hr layover in SFO is progressing slowly. Free wi-fi is nice, don't feel up to trekking over to USO, will continue productively mucking around in RGT...

Sounds eerily familiar to me.... Having benefits for a seemingly always sick wife is good too.

Yeah, I read that thread a few months ago while trying to score here. Thanks, Tom.

Weird, I was there at roughly the same time as you, maybe a little after, waiting for a flight back to London. Free wifi was pretty sweet, especially as I paid a ****-load for crappy internet when I had to wait around at London.

I started poasting in my blog again at anaustrian.blogspot.com. Mostly StarCraft 2 and my failing at dating, but also some poker/libertarian stuff, too.

Cali is great.

Probably not. I've been to L.A. and San Diego before, and it's a bit too far to take the rental. I am moving out to the West coast, so when I drive back out here, I will definitely be hitting up Socal and Las Vegas. Where are you from?

Nope, I think mine was UA954, the 7 30am flight. I guess you got the next one after?

Yeah I live in London, well I will in a couple of weeks again - I'm at my parents right now, and am looking for a student rental with some friends in East London, probably around Mile End or Leyton.

How are you enjoying Ruislip? The only reason I even know where that place is, is because its right at the end of the Central Line. You over here for work or college/uni?
