This is something I don't know a ton about but all of it seems like massive bull**** to me. I've never heard a convincing anti-GMO argument.

There isn't a scientific one.
10-16-2013 , 09:03 PM

BOOOKAAHHH

Within the time from the actual Senate vote and now,
I've went to the mini-mart, bought a 2-liter of coke, a string cheese, and 2 chocolate chip granola bars, and returned home.
The house has yet to vote.
This is pathetic... $pike is moar efficient than the goddamn gov't.

In other news, ikes listens to NPR.

Things have changed lately they don't have all things considered right now.
10-16-2013 , 11:24 PM
But do they have Car Talk?
10-16-2013 , 11:28 PM
Car talk is on the weekend, and I'm not driving much then. Plus I don't like that show much.
10-16-2013 , 11:33 PM
.................

I'm always driving so I'd listen to it if I didn't have to search for it as I drive through each market =\

Hmm two old guys talk about cars... Sounds like every freaking day of my life in SE Michigan with a grandfather, father and father in law as auto engineers.

Wtf, if you want to listen to npr and you're not doing it via podcast and listening at 2x speed you're wasting your life away.
10-17-2013 , 12:33 AM
Don't think I've ever listened to a podcast.

couldn't agree more.

Eh, in my city all the radio stations suck so listening to NPR isn't a bad choice. But if I'm at home I am not listening to news radio or podcasts....
10-17-2013 , 01:07 AM
What's wrong with NPR? Don't listen to it anymore because my listening space has been taken up by golden age radio and poker stuff but npr was solid a couple of years back.

Also, I can't imagine anyone under 77 never having listened to a podcast.

I only started to listen to them a year ago or so when I got my Ipod touch. No way I am going to listen to them on my laptop. Laptop is for schoolwork, gaming, and blasting some BJM or McCarthy into my ears.
10-17-2013 , 01:25 AM
I can't do gaming, work or sleep (or anything tbh) without listening to or watching something at the same time, podcasts and internet radio help with this. ****ing modern age technology.

NPR cool. Science Fridays are where it's at. The best qualities of NPR in my opinion are that sensationalism is downplayed and the sentiments are straight-forward.

I can't figure why NPR News is considered biased by conservatives or who-ever?

International Coverage? Because they mooch every few months? Treat climate science as scientific? 'gubbermint'-run? All/Any of the above/God's will?
10-17-2013 , 01:30 AM
oh that's right science friday isn't on friday on sirius. should podcast that one for sure. talk of the nation was my favorite show should podcast that.
10-17-2013 , 04:33 AM
The Neil Degrasse Tyson podcast is the best science one IMO
