I don't really get why RP bothers calling himself conservative, I mean I guess to get votes from mouthbreathers, but he isn't really conservative at all as most people define the word these days.

Paul is also cleaning up 35-14 with the 24% of voters who identify as either Democrats or independents. Romney is actually ahead 22-19 with GOP voters.

Even if Ron Paul wins the Iowa caucuses by a landslide, the media has enough ammunition to send him plummeting.

I'm afraid you are about to learn what all the liberals mean when they speak of the right wing noise machine. The next few weeks they are going to start to go after Paul. If he still wins Iowa, it will become an absolute relentless campaign against him.

Paul is a much much greater threat to the GoP establishment than Obama.

Most people don't even know who Ron is. The more attention he gets, positive or negative, the more people are going to research him out and discover his true message and lock up more votes for him. The media's attacks will backfire.

You have way too much faith in humanity. Most people get their news from CNN, fox an msnbc. That's it. Trust me, I was one of the those people 6 months ago

The standard media-drone opinion is that Ron Paul is "radical." They don't know what it means - it's just what they remember being told but not why. But it makes them want to dismiss him offhand.
