If you are willing to give me some decent odds on a $20.00 bet, I'll mail you my $20.00 now & if I win, you mail it back with my winnings.
Iowa and NH? I'm thinking like 10:1. Somebody else might give you better, since when I lose your bet I also have to pay out to others.

Iowa caucus voters and New Hampshire primary voters are a lot more politically savvy than South Carolina primary voters. And more important is they are far fewer in number. 40k voters in Iowa got 35% last time around, it was <10% in South Carolina. South Carolina isn't that much bigger than Iowa, its just the silly caucus structure scares away 60% of voters. But its very good for Paul obviously.

Yeah no prob, if I didn't have all the other bets on the table, I would have probably offered something closer to that.

You might have to lay off some of those bets............but will have to pay 10% juice, no?

The amounts aren't a problem, 500 + whatever the General wants. I was just more concerned about putting more down on lines I just made up without any research. I'd definitely feel comfortable putting more down if I had more of a reason to think these were good bets. As of now, it is more of just a fun sweat... than a serious money making venture.

1: My post was never intended to be a disparagement of your favorite poster. I've lost track of the number of posts he makes with nothing but a link, I thought that activity was frowned upon ITF. It was merely a statement of factual activity, and if you were offended, I apologize a thousand times Efendi .

2: I don't have any other avatars that posses an illudium q36 space modulator

3: I didn't know the floor was reopened for nominations.

I asked a politics mod a couple months ago if my posting met the guidelines for the forum, and I was given the okay.

Can you type out the complete terms of the bet? I think we are on th same page just need to get everything down...basically the wiki map which means you win iff paul wins a plurality of a state independent of any vote realising.

Of course...........you do realize I was being facetious & you're just jousting back in return.......correct?
However, your comment did push the envelope a tad.

Please keep the links coming. They are much appreciated by those of us that don't come in here just to hate.

Gonna be hilarious when I edit the wiki map to show RP winning ever state so Max loses.

if not, i'll bet $100 to your $500, same deal. (or any amount less than that, I think you said your max was $1000 on your end or something)

long island is sinking so consider this confirmation that i'm accepting a bet up to $100 my end with you giving me 5:1.
Actually, I'll go ahead and offer you the same bet I did to the others for up to 500 and close out taking any offers with that

Yeah, it definitely not a snap shot of the wiki map taken a random time showing a Paul win in at least one state. But a stable not reverted version... I don't think there are any angles here for either side and any disagreement can be negotiated in public, but I don't anticipate a problem.

The wiki page we're using is fully protected.

Stupid question that's probably been answered somewhere in this huge thread: Would it be safe to assume that Ron Paul has a problem with child labor laws?

Just watched Sunday's interview with Ron Paul on fox. Pretty damn good imo. Paul was given some good questions and responded to them well without being interrupted every 5 seconds

he's probably nominally opposed to them but the issue is so far down his list of priorities that there is basically no chance he ever spends any time or effort on it, plus he likely thinks its not a federal issue

I missed this video from last week.

Video: Dick Morris & Bill O'Reilly talk about Ron Paul

Video: The O'Reilly Factor Ron Paul Hit Piece Analyzed

Best quote from the video...

Dick Morris: As for the gold standard... is [Paul] literally saying that the USA's economy should only be allowed to grow as much as gold can be extracted from the earth... And if there's no gold discovered, our economy has to stay small.
