Alabama Congressman Mo Brooks recently canceled his upcoming Town Hall event. Let's keep the pressure on these guys.

You know what to do. Call the Republican National Committee now: 202-863-8500

Bill Cassidy is actually showing his face in the New Orleans metro area for a town hall in about two weeks. Conveniently times on the exact day major Mardi Gras parades begin, just a coincidence obviously.
02-10-2017 , 10:21 AM
So parade right down to the town hall. Get that brass band up front and bring lots of beads.
02-10-2017 , 10:22 AM
Yeah I was gonna say Mardi Gras sounds like the perfect opportunity for a ton of people to get together and voice their opinions at the Town Hall. With music, naturally since it's New Orleans.

Sadly it's taking place in the burbs which are hugely Republican (like, former David Duke people), but I know quite a few people who are taking off work to go.

I've been helping some of these groups with getting their tech up and running.

This tactic works. Grass roots change from the bottom always produces change, maybe not overnight but, eventually.

Doing good work there
thats exactly what grass roots change looks like. They can't ignore or blow them off as some paid Soros protesters.

Pats delegation at WH needs to consist entirely of BB, Bardy and (preferably hammered) Kraft

6 out and counting. If any more of the team decides not to go then those 3 will probably be the only ones invited to try to save face.

In Georgia the two GOP senators (Isakson, Perdue) had their town hall 130 miles outside of Atlanta, but it still got overrun.

He's my district.

He's got to go.

We've got this cancellation, we've got active spreading of bull**** about voter fraud, and we've got him attempting to discredit the judicial system. All in what's probably the most educated district in the state.

My plans to leave the district are cancelled, at minimum through 2018.

This could be a very competitive race. Let's fight for it.

The bottom line: Resistance works, even in these dark and difficult times, and even if it is just a phone call or a post card. Sustained pressure and demands for accountability have already had noticeable and meaningful impact. And these victories will continue, as long as the people keep fighting for them.

Trump's line of home furnishings has disappeared from Sears' and Kmart's websites

www.businessinsider.com/sears-and-kmart-drop-trump-2017-2

Apparently these items were sold by Sears and Kmart only via their online stores. They remain available on the websites only through some sort of 3rd-party vendor marketplace.

Sears and KMart have been failing for 30 years now

Looks like Trump is about to save them by saying they're failing

I hate everything about seeing these protests labeled "Occupy Democrats" "Tea Party Democrats" or anything Democrats. This isn't about just Democrats and Liberals making a ruckus.

What we should be doing is pointing out that elected officials are feeling heat from all kinds of constituents in places like Utah, Tennessee, Nebraska, Texas. That these town halls also have Republican Moms and teachers who voted to drain the swamp but instead are getting Betsy DeVos, or pipelines they didn't want.

The are lessons to be learned from last POTUSBOWL. What these don't include are (a) mean libruls made D.Trump win, and (b) we all just need to vote harder for the donkeys.

^ Right. That 2nd Twitter post is the message that needs to be out there. Trump & Co are already doing what they can to paint protests as Soros-fed professional libtards, butthurt losers who can't let an election go, and media overstating general dissatisfaction.

Rural Joe Republican seeing some "Occupy Democrats" yelling at one of his Senators 60 miles away doesn't change a lot. It might encourage a few Dems but if you're still sleeping at this point wtf.

You're not going to convert a lot of these dug-in Republicans, it's a pipe dream to think otherwise. What isn't a pipe dream is getting them to hold their own more accountable for some of the stupid things we all hate. And then we can go back to fighting about guns and abortions. They don't have to go along with everything for that.
