You may find this hard to believe, but some people don't change their minds when confronted with facts; others are quite dumb, and when it comes to things like math they don't always understand even simple concepts. And for a lot of these people, no amount of explanation or understanding is going to be enough to overcome a rebuttal as strong as "FAKE NEWS! Robbing Nancy and the Democrats want to take 70% of your money."

The pass-through loophole, the carried interest loophole, the re-basing of assets on death or donation. Not to mention the bull**** corporate tax structuring -- do business in the U.S.? Pay taxes in the U.S. on the fraction of worldwide profits equal to the U.S. fraction of worldwide sales. No matter where your company is incorporated.

What percentage of people who are confused and outraged by the current system would be mollified by your solution?

Maybe 2%?

@ChrisV, maybe we should see what this Bob Dole character brings to the table? He's got more X and more Y than AOC!

I'm confused by this derail. I've done my taxes by hand for years--there is literally a table included with the 1040 instructions that tells you what your taxes should be given your income. That table with a million rows that you guys are talking about... already exists.

Looks like your more sophisticated right-wing trolls (Ben Shapiro, cabinet members, etc) have settled on her being just a naive dumb dumb but man the laypeople just cannot stop bringing attention to her looks, first with her wearing clothes and now that video where she looks just terrific. I guess the middle ground is saying she lied about her upbringing

What is the 10/100 rule for eligibility? I’m going to vote in the next round, I definitely have more than 100 OOT posts over the 14 years I’ve been on this forum... Is there a timeframe they need to be in?

Just vote and make Lektor deal with it (this applies to everyone)
