A town in California was destroyed today from a wildfire. Over 1,000 buildings burned to the ground. Wonder if Trump will even pretend to give a ****.

I don't give the "Concerned Republicans Caucus" much credit but cannot imagine Flake and Corker gave up their Senate careers only to pull this kind of shenanigans to protect Trump on the way out.

****, I have a friend from that town.

Trump won that county in CA, so maybe he cares.

Also, feel bad about this, but 'trouble in Paradise'.

So If Cummings is going to be the new Chairman of the House Oversight Committee, this gives him the unilateral right to issue subpoenas without a committee vote or consultation with the ranking member...

so my question is...will he?

My aunt already evacuated there and their church burned down. No word on her house though.

How is it determined who is Chairman of a House committee? Is it simply seniority, or do they vote for it?

It's been a while, but I don't remember Pelosi being a pushover in 2007-2008. Actions speak louder than words, and there is always lots of empty posturing in politics. My opinion is to basically ignore her until the new Congress is sworn in, and then, if she's voted Speaker, then we'll see what happens.

Saw an article today (don't remember source) saying that when someone is released on parole, they are supposed to do their community service, report to PO, etc..., but also pay all fines and fees that came with their conviction. When they come out of prison they're broke and the fines and fees are almost always waived if they fulfilled the rest of the stuff.

If they decide that voting rights wouldn't be returned unless they completed *all* parole obligations, including paying all fines and fees, then that 1.5 MM number gets cut in half, at least.

Lol perfect. Tv media should play the tape like that every time they're covering him.

Only until Soros can find enough change down the back of his couch to pay the other half's fines.

Lol

Awval is already camping out at his 2020 early voting place to vote Trump.
11-09-2018 , 04:56 AM
Likely awval thoughts in that scenario:

1. Trump didn't fire Mueller. Sessions resigned and then someone else fired Mueller. This doesn't contradict what I said in the quote above.

or

2. Well, actually, if you read my quote closely, I actually meant that I'll be on the streets with einbert only if the Dow tanks 1000 points as a direct result of Trump firing Mueller. In actual fact the Dow only tanked 878 points yesterday, so I'm still fine with the children cage guy. I'm confident the market will recover.

That's well under 50%. Negative effect?

100%. elijah cummings is no joke

pelosi isn't dumb, i'm not a fan of hers but i'm pretty confident that this "bi-partisan" meow chow is just a formality and that they're going to make life as miserable as possible for these clowns in whatever way they can. the committee appointments are already indicating as much.

what a colossally predictable piece of **** this guy is

The whole family is comprised of aggressively ugly people who spend a ton of money trying to be more attractive. Yes, even daddy's girl Ivanka.
