The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns. The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns.

Low youth unemployment is a good thing. Unemployment is a percentage of people looking for work. Young people having to work is reflected in the percentage of them looking for work, rather than the percentage who find it.

Sure, I'm just commenting on his personality.

This is where people who are like "Trump has no strategy" sort of miss the point I think. It might be true that he has no strategy, but he has tactics. At the moment his tactics include "repeat over and over and over again WITCH HUNT, NO COLLUSION, RIGGED", and "capitalize Random Letters to make things look Important to Morons". These are not complicated things but they are still, in my view, premeditated things he does for a purpose.
Yeah there's a degree of hyperbole in saying he's just mashing buttons etc. Like when toddlers tell really dumb, obvious lies because they lack a sufficient theory of mind to know you'll know they're lying. They have tactics, too, but it's silly to think of it as a coherent, reasoned approach to their desired goal.

It's funny how he keeps saying collusion isn't a crime except for when the Dems do it.

When I was a kid I read a lot of outdoor adventure stuff like by Jim Kjelgaard and Jack London. Unworn gear was a douchebag dead giveaway.

And youth in BLS reports goes all the way up to 24. So even increased youth labor force participation rates is hardly bad. I’d agree increasing percentage of 16 year olds in the labor force is potentially a sign of economic sickness.

There’s a ton of diversity of opinion in this forum. Prior to Trump there was a ton of debate. Many of the posters in this thread strongly dislike many of the other posters. However one commonality amongst the posters in this thread is that we are generally educated and not ****ing idiots. And only someone who is not well educated or a ****ing idiot doesn’t realize what a dumpster fire abomination Trump’s Presidency is. Granted, learning that this applies to something like 30 percent of the population of America has been enlightening. Congratulations on being part of that 30 percent!

Lol, nice catch. No Red-Blooded God-Fearing American writes 28,000 as 28.000. This guy is not American.

When you get a new pair of boots after wearing the last pair until they were falling apart you know some people are going to look at them and think, "poser". Then you just have to take it and say ' thanks' when someone says 'nice boots'.

I am glad Giuliani is going to protect Trump from a “perjury trap” because “the truth is not the truth.”

So funny that trump was not a big fan of McGahn because he did not go to an elite law school yet Trump has utilized crap lawyers for decades.

She didn't represent the Russian government! She's a private citizen. I don't even know if they knew she was Russian at the time. All they had was her name...All they knew is that a woman with a Russian name wanted to meet with them. They didn't know she was a representative of the Russian government, and indeed she's NOT a representative of the Russian Government!

Between him and Trump it sometimes seems like there is a parallel screwball comedy the writers are testing. Like a Lemmon and Matthau vehicle where two elderly villains come out of retirement to show the new generation how it’s done.

30-40% of this country vs like 90% of the western world. It should be a huge tell that most people in first world countries think Trump is a dumpster fire as well, and this was before the trade wars or any policy that really affected them.

Many people are saying that Trump is the most pro-food truck President ever!

Man, I held off watching that Giuliani clip because I assumed it would be something dumb but relatively defensible, somehow. But man, he literally goes with:

"If person A says X happened, and person B says X didn't happen, what's the truth? It's impossible to know!"

In the Trumpverse, he's made other countries respect the US again after Obama made them all look down on us.

Since he got snubbed from a real cabinet position and was stuck with Cyber he has returned and literally says whatever Trump wants him to say word for word. You can hear Trumo angrily telling Rudy this is how he needs to handle these Fake News.

I don’t know what kind of oath you lawyers take but seems like by literally just repeating everything his client wants word for word it might not be in their best interest.
