so all year, at least since january 2018, trump's team of criminal defense lawyers have told the special counsel that trump can't sit for an interview because he's so busy preparing for north korean nuclear talks. even though his public schedule has him not getting out of the residence until 11am even though he's on twitter starting at 6am, and he usually has one event per day. but you can still claim that he's preparing every day because that doesn't need to be on his public schedule. fine.

but then trump just reveals that he actually hasn't been preparing at all, that he's going to play it by feel. and as a poker player i've heard that from people, and idk if david sklansky has an opinion on that but it hasn't worked out well from my observation. but david has studied the game of poker much longer and harder than i have so maybe he can chime in on the topic of whether "playing by feel" is just an excuse for lazy people to not put in any work, or if it's a good strategy. or maybe we can speculate on whether or not dealmaking genes exist.

Apparently Trump has a habit of tearing up papers he is done with and has been firing the staffers who taped it all back together to archive them. Seems like a very shady habit.
