Some interesting tidbits on the Cohen investigation. A "special master" has been reviewing the documents seized from Cohen to determine if they are protected by attorney-client privilege or can be turned over to the prosecutors. So far she has reviewed almost 300,000 documents, and she is still going. Cohen/Trump have only claimed a small fraction (less than 1%) of these are privileged, although this could go up. In any case, sounds like Cohen had quite a stash.

Red Notice doesn't give the impression that he had that many friends in high places (that weren't completely comfortable shrugging him off as long as Russia policy was what Russia policy was).

Having said that, things likely changed after the success the Magnitsky act.

(and in cool story, bro (but not really) territory: he actually wrote me a nice email promising me a signed copy of Red Notice "for my library" -- but he never came through!)
